November has disappeared as quickly as a Catapults goal advantage. The last couple of weeks have been mad and at some point I'm probably going to start assuming that all mushrooms are made of meringue. (Obviously I know they're not. Melinda's just been doing some wicked stuff at Sweet Nothings.)

Chris, Ben, Christmas party, yes?

Well, I've a craving for holiday food. My aunt and uncle sent muggle pictures to my parents of their Thanksgiving dinner and it's got me missing the States. I feel a Christmas Party is just the ticket.

Food I can do. We haven't had people round properly since moving in so I kind of want to see what I can do in the kitchen.

You mean they're not? Next you'll probably claim that pink roses aren't made from royal icing either.

Two more days, and by the first weekday in December there ought to be enough that we won't be making anymore mushrooms this year, and will simply be using them for decoration.

I do believe you may have kept me sane in this, or at least ready to take on December.

I heard a rumour that they grow out of the actual ground. Mental.

Don't think I had to do too much work there - you're one of the sanest people I know. December is going to be fine.

I wonder if that says more about the people you know or the people who keep me sane. December's going to be hectic, but hopefully in the best possible way.

Now that I've got my sense of taste back, I may have to try one of these meringue mushrooms... They're not flavoured to taste of mushroom, are they?

Have the mushrooms been keeping you too busy for open mic nights? I'm going to be in the area tonight, might pop in.

No, they are meringue flavoured, but they look surprisingly realistic.
