WHEN: Saturday afternoon
WHERE: Cinema, then some dinner and maybe Justin's place?
WHAT: Just going out as friends.
RATING: R. Of course there will be swearing.

Justin sat down beside Wayne and grinned. This was going to be an amazing movie, he thought. He looked at his friend and wished Rhys could be there with them to see this, but maybe they could come back later? Or at least, maybe he could get the dvd to watch it with the kid. They seemed to be getting along and he wondered if he should ask Wayne about it.

"Hey," He started lamely. They'd been talking since they had met up at the cinema, but for some reason he was starting to feel uncomfortable about asking this to his friend. "How did Rhys like his Halloween?" He asked innocently enough. "Was it his first Halloween in our community?" He wasn't stupid, he was surrounded by Muggles, he couldn't really talk about magic there.

It took a while for Wayne to answer and it had Justin worried a little. "It's all I'm asking for." He said softly, then he bit his lower lip. He wished he knew what to do to help Wayne, but if his mate wasn't letting him, there was not much he could do.

"Because my flat's entirely too big for just me, you know." He said with a chuckle. "And if I'm gonna go on the hunt for a flatmate, might as well be you, you know?"

	"Nah, I wouldn't want to get in your way," Wayne dismissed, not knowing how to say I don't want to sell drugs out of your home. "But if you need me," he countered, "like if you can't sleep, or just want to talk. I'm here. Like I said, I'm not going anywhere. I can't promise to be able to help, but I can promise to listen." Justin tilted his head on the side. "I think you know me better than that, don't you?" He said softly. Of course Justin wouldn't have offered if he had considered it to be a problem.

It means quite a lot for Justin that Wayne would offer his help like this and he was so grateful. "Usually all I need is.." It was a vulnerability he wasn't too keen on revealing. "I just need someone to be there, sometimes. I get uneasy when it's dark and quiet." He looked away, his discomfort really showing.

Wayne might not be one of the most perceptive people on the planet, but he could tell that Justin was peeling back some armor, and knew that that was a form of progress.

"Well, you know you can come to me," he assured Justin. "Can't promise to be particularly entertaining, either. But even if I'm at work...it's not glamorous, I know, but...the McD's I work at is 24 hours. Lots of people come around when the noises in their heads are too loud. And I can bring you coffee."

	It had never occurred to Justin to go anywhere else than Finnigan's whenever he felt like the quiet of his flat was too heavy to bear but the idea of spending time somewhere potentially busy in a Muggle place was appealing. 	Wayne grinned giving Justin's hand another squeeze. "Anonymity is nice sometimes. Being alone is easier when you're in a crowded room than if you're in an empty one, anyway." Thus, the appeal of AA. Justin felt the really powerful urge to reach over to the table and snog Wayne. At the moment he felt understood and accepted and even though he felt that with other people, it meant a lot to him coming from Wayne. "Usually I go to Finnigan's when that happens, but they close sometimes and there is always people I know that come and go.." At McD's, at least he'd really be able to get his mind back in shape. Of course he'd rather Wayne was there.
