Journal Neville
I may have found a house in the countryside, but I still need to have it inspected. I have my doubts about the real amount of work that needs to be poured into that fixer upper and I really want an honest estimate.

That being said, Gran doesn't understand my choice to fix up a house when I could buy a new one or have one built, but the point is to have the opportunity of doing something else with my hands than filing and paperwork.

[Warded to Seamus]
Last time I saw you was ages ago across that counter of yours. If I come over for lunch on Monday, can you have lunch with me?

Sometimes there's great joy in fixing things up and working with your hands. I'm having to get used to no longer having a huge garden at my disposal to utilise or work in whenever I feel like it!

That's what I keep telling myself. I do need something fun to do and I want to be on my own, so I figured it was a good way to do so.

I don't know about other people, but it's my very first house and I'm excited.

I don't know if its their first houses or not, but there do seem to be a lot of people buying houses, some of which is hard to ignore/not spot. The house buying, I mean. Good luck buying a house.

I have my fingers crossed that the inspection goes well. On both hands!

If it doesn't I'll find something else, I'm not worried much actually. But thanks for the good thoughts.

I'm hoping too. It has a nice yard which has nothing on it yet. It'll be a lot of fun to plan all this.

Oh my goodness, you're getting a new house too? Twinsies. I have a good Muggle inspector if you need a recommendation.

I'm still living with my grandmother, so it's my first house. I didn't want to get a flat because, well, what are the chance I'll have a decent yard?

That's really nice of you, Susan. I'll contact them.

I won't say no to help, for sure. Susan has already given me the coordinates for a good Muggle Inspector so I should be set soon about what needs to be done.

I'm taking it then that the house previously belonged to Muggles and isn't unplottable. Though I must say that I think I've had my fill of trying to undo the damage done by previous wizarding owners.

Nope, the lady isn't a Witch at all, but it's okay. Her house is nice and secluded with a lot of yard. Nice little thing. Not unplottable, but I'm sure a few wards here and there won't hurt much.

The problem with magical houses is just that. We have no idea what's been done unless there is a registry and it's bothering me.

Oh, it's definitely more than okay. Trust me. The flat Harry and I have right now was much easier to move into.

Particularly if the wizards who had the house first didn't have the purest of intentions.
