Who: Hyperion and Percy

What: Picking up some bespoke suits

Where: Norton & Sons, Savile Row, Mayfair

When: Friday 7th of November, morning

Rating: the safest of SFWs

Hyperion strolled casually up Vigo Street, looking all the world like a bored Muggle businessman on the way to some sort of meeting. Savile Row was only about twenty minutes walk from his house, and he'd decided that walking to the destination would have the added bonus of stretching his legs and testing his ability to blend in as a Muggle. He stopped for a moment to check for traffic, before ambling up Savile Row towards Norton & Sons. He paused at one point to let a group of excited Japanese tourists stampede past him before finally making it to the store. Smiling to himself, he checked his newly charmed watch and then leant against the wall, content to wait for his friend.

He'd been waiting less than a minute when he spotted Percy. "Always on time," he remarked to himself happily as he stood up properly and smirked. "Why hello there Percy," he said, gripping the other man's arm warmly. "Shall we go and pick up these suits of yours then?"

Yellow suit and pink kilt? That comment was definitely worthy of a solid glare from Percy. Where in Merlin's name did Hyperion come up with such... combinations?

"Certainly, torture the poor woman," he replied with an exaggerated eyeroll. Though he would never wish to annoy his own mother - she was a bloody saint, thank you very much - he could at least empathize with the sentiment. "After everything she's done for you. But seriously, it's a solid move, and one I feel you'd be good for. Perhaps it would force you to grow up a little as well," he teased.

Percy's lips twisted in thought as Hyperion's words about his sister brought on memories, some of things he'd said about his own rift with the family, and others about what his siblings had said about him. There had been a lot of disagreement in perspective, persons attributing thoughts and motives to the others that had not been the case, and even a few years later, much of it had not been resolved and never may be. He wanted to say something, but what business did he have meddling in Hyperion's family affairs? "At least it sounds like a step forward. Sometimes that's all it takes."

He sighed and finished off his tea before placing the cup back on its saucer. "Nothing else of note, honestly. I work, I care for Lucy, I eat... I need a life, don't I," he finished with a chuckle and a shake of his head.

Hyperion cackled at the withering look that Percy levelled at him. "Oh come off it Perce, you know I don't believe you'd actually wear that. No need for your knickers to go aglay."

He lifted his eyebrow and then pointed at it, revealing the scar that his mother had given them after the fight so many years ago. "It's not like we've always had the best relationship, lad. She still won't tell me what the hell happened the night-" his voice cracked slightly. "The night Pandora left. My siblings won't tell me over. So occasionally I like to get a little payback, as petty as it is." He snorted and leant back in his chair, lifting his eyebrow again. "You always seem to think I'm childish lad, why is that?"

"Aye, you might be right at that. I do wish we'd be able to sit down and talk properly though," he said with a shake of his head. "I inevitably say something that her hyper-sensitive and - let's be honest - curse affected brain takes offence to and she either screams at me or flounces off. It's why I tend to avoid her."

"What type of life do you want, anything I can help with?" The ghost of a smile played across his lips for a moment. "I could always drag you out for an evening on the town with the Aurors?"
