Raffle Prize
I had a great time helping out at the raffle! Thanks to everyone who bought tickets, I hope you all won someone or something you like. Obviously, I won the best possible date. Well, there were others that sounded good too - the hot air balloon and the archery and the zombie trail - but I'm really happy with mine. I've never been outside the UK before, I have no idea what to wear for dinner on the beach! Or for a tour of an underwater castle. How are we going to breathe? Should I wear a swimming costume?

Is there someone I can write to to have these questions answered, actually?

I'm still excited.

Good on you! I'd offer to trade you except I wouldn't deny you such a brilliant date. Unless of course you're really keen on cauldrons and beards.

Maybe send an owl to the Department of International Magical Cooperation? They might know.

My shop donated the date, so feel free to ask me. I've spent some time there. Also, I'm thrilled you like the idea, and I hope you enjoy yourself!

Oh! Cool. Well, could we start with what I've already asked. It's an underwater tour - how do we breath? Do we have scuba gear or something? Should I wear a swimming costume or will a wetsuit be provided?

Sorry, I was in between customers earlier.

You'll have a choice between a bubblehead charm and Gillyweed for breathing underwater. You can wear a swimming costume and have a warming charm applied, or you can request a wetsuit with a charm. I generally go with Gillyweed and a swimsuit, but I also spent a LOT of time at the kingdom in the Caribbean several years ago.

I'm a pretty strong swimmer, but I've never done any more underwater than holding my breath and diving to the bottom of the pool. What combination would you recommend? (Taking into consideration I have a date with a cute boy and wetsuits are not flattering!)

Swimming costume, but not one that will just fall off if you look at it wrong. (But it can be a nice one! Just don't let it fall off.) The warming charms are stellar. I'd also do the Gillyweed unless you're totally weirded out by webbed hands and feet and temporary gills. There'll be chances to dose up again, and the guide will never leave you in a dangerous situation. They do tours all the time.

I am so happy to hear you had a great time. Thank you so much for your help, you did a marvellous job; you are alway more than welcome to stop by the office in Monument Alley if you are interested in getting more involved.

Your date does sound amazing. I can see that Rolf has already offered to help you out, but if you need anything, let me know - I think we're roughly the same size clothes-wise.

Maybe I will. I don't suppose you're open in the evenings or at weekends?

Generally, no, we're not, but if that is better for you, then I can be there, or we can meet somewhere else. Granted, my children may be there as well, but it's no problem arranging anything outside office hours.

I might be able to work through lunch and come in around half four, if that's okay?

I was only expecting dinner in London, so this sort of thing never crossed my mind. I'm looking forward to it.
