Cooking Class!!
WHO: Justin and Romeo
WHEN: Sunday October 12th
WHERE: Justin's flat
WHAT: First cooking class!
RATING: PG
STATUS:

Of course Justin had a very well equipped kitchen and everything was great high end quality. It was just really sad that he had no idea how to use any of that. So far, at least and that's why he was asking help. He definitely didn't want to assume that Romeo was doing this for free because, hey, it was a class even if it was done in his own flat.

Only too late had he realized that he had forgotten to ask Romeo what he should have in terms of food and eventually figured that maybe they'd go shopping together or something. The doorbell rang and he almost ran to the door.

"Not so many," Romeo said mildly. The best part of cooking was getting to eat what they had made. "I am from Mexico, you understand, and so most of my specialities are Mexican dishes. But I am always looking to expand my repertoire..."

He clapped his hands together in excitement as an idea occurred to him. "Why don't I buy a French cookbook!?" he exclaimed. "We can learn together, my friend. After a few more lessons on the basics, the things I am already comfortable, we two could branch out, and learn something completely new. Would you like to do this, with me?"

Justin grinned and quickly opened a cabinet where he was keeping his cookbooks. "I have a few." He told Romeo excitedly. "I have Italian, French, oh.." He frowned and grabbed a book. "I have a Mexican cookbook too."

He chuckled. "You are probably better suited to teach me how to make chili than they are." He grabbed his French cookbook and went back to Romeo. "I have a bunch of books, I just never got around to do anything with it." He picked up his toast again and smiled.

"I'm all up for learning any kind of food too. Mexican food sounds really good, but I don't do well on heat."

"Mexican food doesn't have to be very spicy if you don't want it to be," Romeo said, taking the book and flicking through it. "When it comes to the choice between putting in chili beans and some other kind of beans, the choice is yours. And you do not have to make jalapeño poppers if you do not want to."

He finished up his food, pulled his wand out of his back pocket and gave it a swish and a flick, clearing up his dishes and the dishes used to cook in. "You were a wonderful student," he said. "Shall we make this a weekly thing?"

Justin grinned. He so really wanted to make his own burritos. "This is amazing. So basically I can do whatever I want, yeah?" Justin had always been under the impression that he needed to follow a recipe and too bad if he didn't like it. He definitely knew what he liked or not and spices were to be used carefully in his case.

He blushed when Romeo told him he was a wonderful student. "I'm only as good as my teacher, you know." He nodded, agreeing on the weekly meeting. "I'm looking forward to it."
