Okay everyone, get ready for the second Wood invasion as Logan Wood is now in the house. He's a Ravenclaw who graduated from Hogwarts in 1999. He fought in the Final Battle (though he wasn't part of the DA) and as a result of his injuries lost out on the chance to play professional Quidditch (he was a beater for Ravenclaw for several years). He's still bitter about it and doesn't like to mention the War very much. He works for and lives above Bludgers and Broomsticks, another quidditch supply and brooms shop in Monument Alley. They're not as high end as McLaggen's, but they do have a specialty broom line made by Logan himself. He does take commissions if anyone is interested.

Logan is technically bisexual but so far in the closet he might as well be on the other side of the wall. He's not necessarily homophobic, but he's uncomfortable when it comes to sex. He can probably count the number of girlfriends he's had on one hand and have fingers left over. Otherwise he's pretty friendly and jovial, preferring to go at his own pace than at anyone else's. He's not as outgoing as Oliver, but he does alright.

I'm open to all sorts of interactions for this dude. Hit me up via email (lis@figmentedfollies.com) or aim (figmentedfollies)

NO PLOT GO AWAY

Jk jk

So Oliver/Logan we know. He loves him forever and will give him all the unsolicited love advice he can handle. And then more. Because he's Ollie. And he also buys his brooms from him alone and will rep the shit out of them ;)

Astoria is a year younger, but she probably would have found him much more gentlemanly than his brother. I don't think they would have interacted much in school because of the age difference, except that she does love sweets so would have enjoyed going into Honeyduke's. We can see how they interact!

Megan is friendly with everyone. She doesn't play quidditch or anything, but she enjoys watching it and would talk to him about it any time he came into Finnigans. Or just, whatever. That's how she rolls. So friendly??

Oliver - Brothers for the win. They'll be excellent.

Astoria - Logan is gentlemanly in that he shies away from the whole sex thing. Also yes Honeydukes. Logan loves Honeydukes.

Megan - Friendly is good.

Oh, Pansy is going to have fun with him. I apologize in advance.

Harry would know him through Oliver, but they're not as close despite being closer in age? What do you think?

Lisa remembers him slightly from school, and would be friendly!

Pansy - Logan has no idea what to do with Pansy, however I fully encourage this. So I can't wait to see what happens.

Harry - They are also in different houses. That being said, Logan's pretty friendly in his own lumbering way.

Lisa - THey were only a year apart. He does enjoy books and he'd be friendly to her son as well. He likes kids and kids seem to like him.

I'm sorry, I can't help it, but my first thought when reading his profile is: he's so adorable!

Melinda is a fellow Ravenclaw, though 2 years ahead of him, and a regular participant at LBB, so she'd at least know who he is.

Alicia would definitely know him via Oliver, and she's bound to either have commissioned a broom from or do so in the future. If you're interested she can have helped him with Healing or excercises to deal with his injuries afterwards, Ali's all yours. After all getting people back on a broom is what's she's specialised in (even if they can't always continue professionally. Poor Liam.)

That's pretty much what he is, an adorable, lumbering puppy. Still unused to his big frame.

Melinda - He doesn't quite understand why he has to be part of LBB, even though he's there in his uncle's stead. He's probably late at least half the time.

Alicia - Yes, I'd imagine so. He was the tag along, even though he really didn't do it much in Hogwarts. Excercises would have been great, though what really hurt him was the head traumas that screwed up his balance and made him prone to dizzy spells and migraines that could strike at any time. Not a good idea to be up in the air when that happens.

And people wonder why Alicia doesn't want any pets: Oliver's a golden retriever and Logan the tag along lumbering puppy ;)

Melinda - may feel a little sorry for Logan and try to make it not so bad for him.

Alicia - it was actually the head traumas I was thinking of, though unfortunately not all injuries can be Healed completely. It may sound odd, but I get the feeling she might be a little protective of him(?)

Except Logan makes fewer messes than Oliver. :D

Melinda - Just don't make the pitying so obvious or Logan's dander will actually get up and make him snappish.

Alicia - Protective actually makes sense and I think Logan's sort of used to it? Because Oliver has sort of adopted that group as pseudo-siblings and since Logan is Ollie's ACTUAL sibling he's inherited them as well.

He's a well trained puppy! And Alicia haven't had to chase a girl out of his flat...

Melinda... doesn't do pitying, and if she does it won't come off as such or it would be done in good fun.

Alicia - Protective, also because I find it funny that he's more than a foot taller than her.

No, she's never had to do that. Unless it went along the lines of something like this. "There's this strange girl in my flat and I don't know why she here or how she got in. I have all my clothes pn and I don't think I drank that much. What happened?!?!?!!?!11111"

Melinda - That totally works.

Alicia - Eh, he comes off as being this sort of puppy you need to protect. I'd imagine that if he's sitting down you probably don't realize how tall he is until he stands up.

That sounds oddly familiar :P

If he sits down, she could probably look him in the eyes without having to tilt her head back (she's 5'2'').

Yay Liam! Dominic are him are/were dorm mates for I guess 6 years? CoS through HBP and then the first year after that (Logan's 7th year, Dominic's 6th-because-he-missed-one). They were also good at the same subjects and would have played on the same Quidditch team for two years. So... good friends? As long as Logan isn't too freaked out by Dominic's sexuality/attitude to sex?

Seamus will know him mostly through Dominic and Oliver, and also from the pub. He probably invited him to Battlescars once way back when, but doesn't feel he knows him well enough to push. Seamus, despite having accepted his own sexuality in theory tends to have issues with it in practice so they'd have that in common too.

Lucy, as per usual, has no idea who he is.

Dominic - Yes. Logan and Dominic should be good friends. And Logan isn't freaked out by OTHERS sexuality/attitudes towards sex, but just not when it comes to his person. Sex is a big deal and he doesn't even know if that is something he can handle on a regular basis.

Seamus - Logan would be friendly and he's fond of the pub. Friendly works.

Lucy - Logan has very little interaction with the muggle world, but that doesn't mean he's afraid of it. He'll ask questions and be friendly if they ever cross paths.

Oh, more shiny boys. That would be me not Dean.

Dean does occasionally still fly so there's the possibility he's been in the shop the odd time. Otherwise interaction is likely to be across a bar. Although Dean would be pleased to a. be able to look somebody right in the eye and b. see someone else furiously scribbling in a notebook.

Blaise would recognize him from Quidditch. He treated Ravenclaws with respect and even spoke to them if you'd like for them to have been friendly in school.

Having been a prefect Hermione tended to know who just about everyone was. Being Oliver's brother I can see her reaching out to be riendly to him if you'd like.

Blaise - Logan's pretty inoffensive. Really, he was just into Quidditch for the first six years and didn't want to pick fights with anyone outside of what happens on the pitch. Afterwards he was all about brooms. Friendlish works, though depending on how Blaise treated those Logan was friendly with would impact their interactions.

Hermione - Definitely!

Blaise never actively picked on anyone from another house but he also didn't stop others from doing so.

Wonderful!

I think Adrian would find his friendliness a bit off putting. But that's nothing personal. Any potions he needs, Pucey's around!

Cho thinks he's a HOT RAVENCLAW HOUSE PLAYER. And really that's as far as her thought process goes when it comes to him.

Mac probably doesn't like him much for working for the other shop and for being in the closet, but if ever wanted to experiment, Mac can be discrete (believe it or not)!

Unlike Hannah, Logan's not about to go up to EVERY SINGLE PERSON and strike up a conversation. He'll just chat amiably about some common topic, but if that's not Adrian's game that's cool too.

Logan went from aww, a baby Wood with prerequisite baby fat into the man he is now. They would likely know one another from Quidditch though?

Hey Mac, they go after different markets Though it might be fun to see if Mac/his family could lure Logan away (spoiler: they can't as it's also a family thing). As for being in the closet, he's basically just been able to admit it to himself that he likes guys and sex period kind of freaks him out. I don't know how much experimenting he'd be able to do.

I would love for Mac to try to steal Logan away, especially with him designing his own brooms and all :) And yeah, Cho would know him through the houseteam (she was class of '97) but back then he was just Wood's little brother, you know? Now's he's like... ANOTHER WOOD. She's likely to be friendly with him anytime XD

As Adrian gets more used to being social and less fearful, I can see him and Logan having a conversation sometime :)

Hey darling! Better late than never!

Percy: Would probaly know Logan best seeing as he's good friends with Oliver AND works in broom regulation control. I'm sure there are official ministry inspections, so I can see Percy going "I know it's not in my job description anymore, but I'll do it myself" and use the opportunity to talk brooms and quidditch with Ollie's bro. I remember you saying Logan loves kids - Percy bringing Lucy over to choose her first broom?

Ernie: Thinks Logan's gorgeous and would love to play doctor *ahem* but seriously, he'd be nice and friendly, but if Logan's too shy and stand-offish from nerves or what not, he'd back off - he's good like that.

Gemma: Would eat him for breakfast, except I think she wants one of his brooms, so she may be nice until she gets it ;)

Absolutely. <3

Percy - Sounds perfectly perfect, just like Percy himself. Amiright? I would say that Logan is too proud to use these personal connections, but he's not. And yes to broom purchases. Logan will be sure to steer them clear of the brooms where the safety charms can be bypassed by a clever child. He'd also be willing to tinker with the broom too for specifications.

Ernie - Logan's eyes just widened and blushing furiously. He's okay as long as sex with his person isn't mentioned.

Gemma - Who knows. His whims change on me rapidly.

Ernie: Don't worry, he'll behave.

Gemma: lol
