Hallo game!

I'm DCJ and I've had Theodore Nott here for a while but I haven't been active with him for the last couple of months because I suck at life and in general.

I'd love to get reinvolved in the game. Theo's going to have been at the Janus Thickey ward in St Mungo's for the last few weeks after a small breakdown that he might have had after Ernie stopped contacting him and then Valentine's Day happened

He's in need of lines, friends, Romans, countrymen, and after losing Ernie I'd love a complicated love interest for him which I will go ahead and pimp for now. He also needs somewhere to work as he's currently unemployed and will need somewhere to live too - anyone looking for roomies?

Just wanted to apologise to everyone for being a flake and to say I'm back and ready to go!
I'm also going to reboot Merwyn and reapping him soon

Well, I brought Astoria in, but I don't know that they'd have a whole lot going on there. But, you know, thought I'd mention it anyway. She could teach him how to crochet if he wants, though? It's actually really calming and soothing and can help with lots of things, so it could be a good hobby for him to calm his mind and focus his mind, etc. (You can do some research on it, too. There are some articles and I think a website compiling stories for a book on how knitting and crocheting can help both mentally and physically. Which actually gives me an idea for Astoria and/or Zacharias, but probably Astoria...) She volunteers so she could have always volunteered at the hospital from time to time and could have taught him some basics. If you want.

And I can't help you with the complicated love interest (Tristan has enough problems of his own that I think he'd completely break to the point where I couldn't play him if he were paired off with someone else with the same amount of problems. It just wouldn't be healthy for either of them. Zacharias would be weirded out on the basis of Ernie and all that lol), but you could try ~find_a_player or ~slashsls maybe?

Cool! Theo was working at Astoria's Apothecary and so had some interaction with past-her but that wouldn't apply here. That said, they would possibly have seen each other at Hoggies. I actually love the idea of her teaching him to crochet and that they kind of bumped into each other at the hospital - crochet does sound like something that would be beneficial for him, esp with the nerve damage in his hand. He also loves Bryony so they could rub shoulders in those circles too?

I concur, although in another world Theo wouldn't say no lol. Thank you for the sugestion though, you little sweetheart :)

Yeah, I don't think it'd apply here since both players are gone, and the apothecary that is open is under a different name lol I mean, I don't mind saying they've interacted in the past in a polite fashion. And they were at school for some of the same years, so I can't imagine they didn't pass each other at least (even if they didn't interact). But I suspect the hospital could be our best bet? Because, like I said, she volunteers, so I can easily see her volunteering at the hospital sometimes, bringing by appropriate treats, reading, bringing books and magazines, trying to teach people crochet, etc. And yeah, she's friends with Bryony, so I'm sure they could have crossed paths because of that, too. :)

Yes and yes, passing like ships in the night. But yeah, I think meeting in hospital is most likely. He had some periods of catatonia and then he had a period of being conscious but not wholly in the right world, so crochet and just talking to him could have well brought him out of that shell. He probably feels grateful and maybe even indebted to her for helping him and he will likely go to bat for her if she ever needs someone to. He's loyal as a dog.

Heya. It's good to see you around again.

As you might have seen I decided to carry on with the thread with Gwenog. I'm curious to see what might become of it. Apologies for the Google translate Welsh, I don't actually speak it. She might continue to be curious about him actually.

He might be interested in the community-sourced art project Dean will be embarking on soon, related to nightmares and words that haunt people. You can find more about that here. Also I think at one point we had plans to throw them at each other and see how their issues fell about, but I don't think it ever happened.

In theory Charlie wouldn't say no to more staff, but I don't know that that would be an environment that would suit Theo. No idea what Theo's thoughts on scarred and tattooed ex-dragonhandlers, but it could be an interesting meeting at some point. Even just at random.

Technically Gwenog has spare rooms at her place in Wales, but that might be massively awkward and I don't think that she'd offer (he would find out her secrets and she likes to keep those tyvm).

I'm so happy! But really sorry I left you hanging :( That was a dick move of me. That's okay, embarassingly enough I studied Welsh for most of my childhood schooling as I used to live there and now all I can remember how to say is that I have black shoes and that I help around the house, along with some colours - Google Translate FTW! lol. If they go on to be friends that would be possibly one of the most adorable things in the world.

Ugh, Theo's so problematic or that would be awesome. Yeah, he's probably not fit enough for the club scene. Charlie on the other hand... I have a real thing for that pairing so I shall have to rein my enthusiasm in, lol, but they could definitely meet and bond over a mutual love of animals and the Romanian language and so on. In fact, if you were open to it, I might have an idea about them...

Yes, very awkward! She's adorable but he'd feel bad imposing as well.

It's, well it wasn't fun, but I understand life intervening. And I'm glad you're wanting to finish it. Lol at what Welsh you remember. I live near enough and have family in that direction that I'm used to the road signs but not much else! Gwenog is currently more protective than friendly, but I think it could run in that direction (she's got a bit of a squishy centre under the hard exterior but she's bad at showing it). I like the idea of them bonding in Welsh though.

Nooo, don't reign it in. I was half tempted to say something but wasn't sure if you'd be interested. While Charlie is asexual he's not aromantic (although I'm not sure he'd realise that as yet). I don't know if it would go anywhere but I'd be interested to put them together and see if they get on. Animals and Romanian (Charlie's isn't the best and pretty touristy in places because lots of the staff talked in English) is probably a good place to start. But I want to hear your idea too. Charlie needs more things!

Haaaaaaaaate life. Lol, I know, I suck so hard. I did it for GCSE level until year 8, I should know more than colours! I used to have the accent too until I moved and now it's all but gone; it's weird how that happens. I love Gwenog, I actually have a minor girl crush on her and I think Theo does too, lol. I kid, but she isn't a threat to him now, which sounds weird but is a big deal because mostly everyone is. :P

Yeeeeees, I'm excited!

LOL I LOVE the idea of throwing Theo into that kind of environment but I think he'd last about five minutes before having some kind of breakdown, lol

Oh, he could well start work at Mac's - he doesn't look like he knows a lot about sport and he was never really into Quidditch but he knows some stuff about brooms and he's a quick learner. Also I'd imagine some of the rowdier clientele would make him uncomfortable and I'm all for kicking him out of his comfort zone because I'm evil.

	Actually, I think Theo may be the only one left who gets away with calling her Milly! She's fond of him, even if she hasn't a clue how to relate to him any longer. And yay, he liked the gift! She fretted a bit over the charm-work, because she wasn't sure how strong to go, so she may have consulted with Dora a bit to make sure it was All Right. ALL THE THINGS! Bless his cottons! I don't think they've had a thread together but I'm more than happy for new connections somehow! It might be cute for them to interact over Oliver's secret, dirty reading habit, if Theo finds out somehow. They could also have bumped into each other during one of Oliver's visits to St Mungo's, either while Theo was visiting his therapist or while he was admitted.

Oh god, I love the idea of Theo finding out about Oliver's love of trashy romance/girlie novels. Oliver has been having Alicia heal him lately (shhhh no one is supposed to know), but if he was really hurt and had to be admitted he would be down to talk to Theo.

Part of me has been toying with the idea of Oliver seeing a therapist, but I hadn't pursued it seriously.
