Hello all! It's Jinx with my third - I give you Bryce Dunstan, and his four-year old daughter Sophie. He's a former Gryffindor (my first ever, lol) and a parole officer in the DMLE. Bryce has been living the Muggle lifestyle for the last few years, ever since his fiancée/daughter's mother died in an accident in the Department of Mysteries, so he's a little out of touch with all things magic. Though he's a little wary about who he allows to get close to his daughter, he's an overall nice and happy guy. He's going to need friends, old or new, and I'm up for anything for him :)

As a side note, I am attempting to get over a cold that took me out of work for three days, so I apologize for my recent slowness.

I think we've discussed some stuff? Tristan goes to the DMLE weekly for visits with probation worker and yes. And Zacharias may or may not have known the wife but likely wouldn't be able to say much either way.

And wow that's really short, but I'm tired, rushing out the door, and I know we talked about some things. And you know where to get ahold of me to discuss more if you want lol

Woo new characters! I listed Bryce as 'widowed' on the cast list, because I don't know if there's a word for that when its your fiancee rather than your wife. If you'd rather a different word, I can change it.

If I've done my maths right - which you know is a long shot - he graduated four years before Lucy/Seamus/Greg and five and six before Dominic and Bryony, so I'm not sure any of them will know him of old. However, he and Lucy have coming-back-to-the-magical-world in common, so I think they should meet asap :D

Welcome to your new kiddo. As you know I'm horrid at responses but that doesn't mean we can't plot.

Blaise likely doesn't really know him though they may have passed in the halls at both Hogwarts and the Ministry.

Marietta likely does not know him as he was older and in a different house and I can't think of a reason why they would have interacted since.

Hermione is most likely to know him. They were in the same house though he was older I'm sure Hermione noted who everyone was. Of course it would have been cursory then. However, with her currently working for a solicitor perhaps they have crossed paths working with the same client.

	No worries at all! I'd love to do something with him and Hermione working together for someone - at the moment the only solid thing I have for him work-wise is being Tristan's parole officer, though obviously that doesn't negate him from having others. 	Hermione has been representing a young Muggleborn woman. We've not really done anything with her but maybe she's been on probation in the Muggle world and they need her to have a probation officer that can get her transitioned off properly with whatever her wizarding world overview was as well. Bryce is three years younger than Charlie so they'd probably know each other, although possibly not all that well. Although I see he's Tristan's Parole Officer so they've probably had some contact about that, or can do in the future.

Stealing Kaylie's maths he's four years older than Dean, so again might know him by sight maybe, but probably not too well. I'm sure they'll come across each other in the pub eventually.

Gwenog I think would have been in her final couple of years when he started at Hogwarts. I doubt they'd have known each other, although he might have seen her on the pitch. Her reputation might come back to him, since it would have started before he left, but otherwise not much connection. I mean she'd eat him up on a stick, but the kid would keep her away. She is NOT good with children and doesn't want any.

Agreed, he might vaguely recognize Charlie, but the future could be interesting if he ever needs to talk to him as Tristan's employer.

With the kidlet I'm not sure how much he'll actually be in the pub, but I'm sure we can find some way for him and Dean to run into one another.

But it would be so much fun to torment Gwenog with a munchkin!!... J/k. Mostly lol. But yes, he might have heard of her reputation, though I don't know if I can see Bryce and her getting along.

Alicia is 2 years younger than him, but same house, and Bryce was in the same year as Oliver Wood, so... probably they knew each other? Other than that, there's the whole widowed thing and children (or child in Bryce's case) and having the best of both worlds, so I may have to say 'yes, please,' to some interaction there.

Other than that, then Rose is too young and from a different house to know him, and I've no immediate plans of her ending up with a parole officer. Finbar is 4 years older and a different house, so I don't see a whole lot there, either, and Melinda... used to date Oliver Wood, and she's 3 years younger and from a different house. Melinda will, though, be helpful with just about anything.

And finally, both the Fawleys (Alicia's Pureblood in-laws), Spinnets (Muggle family of Muggleborn father) and Darbys (Muggle family of Muggle mother) are available if you want familial ties to someone. As are the Quigleys, who are Irish Purebloods.

I say yes to Bryce and Alicia knowing each other, since Bryce is the friendly sort, and definitely yes to interaction!! Future play date maybe?

His daughter will probably be enchanted by Melinda's shop, quite honestly, so that could be something.

Ah, Gryffindors are easy to play. My first ever RP character was Gryffindor :D

Future play date, yep! I just got to thinking, that Bryce would have been in the same year as Daniel (Ali's dead husband) and her two brothers, though they were in other houses (Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw).

Melinda, it appears, has a thing for little children, though she doesn't have a clue about kids. She does like pretty girly things, so maybe that's where the connection is :P

Sorry to be so late!

Viktor has kids, so there's always that, ans he's comfortable between worlds.

I need to look up the years of him vs the others - I've been so busy sorry. But Rolf is always friendly and there's the animals. Dora he might know of through her mother who is head of the DMLE. Well, not from her but from others. That could be interesting to have them run at odds somehow or get to know eaxh other a bit.

Genie is as always open to everything ever and was also Gryffindor.

No worries at all about lateness - it's been a crazy time of year.

Yay for kidlets! That's always something to be explored down the road, since Sophie is going to need some friends.

He might come into Rolf's shop at some point down the road for a pet, though that's a little up in the air right now.

I agree that Bryce and Dora might be interesting, especially if he hears any rumors of her in the DMLE.

There's a bit of an age difference between him and Genie, so he might not remember her from school, but he'd be friendly and open if they ever ran into one another, and random interactions are always good :)
