Rolf's family's Gala
So, I’ve been meaning to do this for a bit, and been procrastinating a lot. However I think I’ve finally settled it, unless someone has an issue with it.

Rolf’s family’s rescue is going to have a fundraising gala on the evening of Tuesday December 23. It’s going to be fancy dress/black tie, Christmas gala. I’m toying with the idea of a silent auction on a few nice ideas, or something of the ilk – I’m open to ideas.

There’ll be a ‘plate’ fee and such, since this is for a good cause, but it won’t be exorbitant, and all donations in addition will be happily welcomed. Consider everyone invited who would come to such a thing. It’s been an event for a long time under New Scamander, his grandfather.

Some of my kids (Adi, Romi, Chris, Mac, and Cho) will be there! Just not sure which ones yet :)

Wonderful! They're all very welcome. I figure Cho had a hand in this?

Great! We can certainly say she was the event planner for it if you like :)

I imagine there will be some Travers there, probably of the NPC variety! (I don't even know if Tristan would get word of it or anything.) Orla would probably be there, too, if it's something she'd be invited to. Mr. and Mrs. Smith may or may not be present. I'm not sure. Though if they are, they may drag their oh so charming son along.

Wonderful. Tristan is welcome, as well. He might hear through Julian?

It would be, yes, for Orla. Anyone with money for a plate and a desire to attend is welcome.

:D

If not from Julian (because I don't want to accidentally god mod lol) then I can say his grandparents/great-grandparents could mention it slash make him show up lol

I know Orla would have money for a plate! The Smiths may or may not... I mean if it isn't like a thousand galleons a plate or something crazy, which I know you said it wasn't. Just gotta think on it. I could see if they go they drag Zacharias on the basis of setting him up with someone there lol

:D

Yup them for sure.

Nah, it's no where near that much. It'll be expensive for just a person off the street, but not out of this world. Part of it is plumbing people for personal and corporate donations while they're already there. Plus the elder Scamanders know how to throw the Christmas party, with excellent food, music, dancing, and some other kind of entertainment.

Mils would be there if he plumbed the older families for support. If there's a silent auction, Bulstrode Publishing may donate an item.

Definitely plumps the older families. His grandparents are part of a pretty high circle, I believe, though they're not from the original whatever-the-number, lol. But they're rich and well connected.

Sacred Twenty-Eight? ;) I thought I remembered that his grandparents had a little black book full of the nicer names in society. In that case, Mils will be there, and very possibly Jane as well (and each of them putting out discreet feelers on behalf of both "their" companies over dinner. ;) Hey, networking opportunities are never to be passed up, if they arise!)

YES! Thank you. That's the number my tired brain was looking for. They do. They're very well connected. His grandmother might even have relatives in the original families, I'm not sure. I know dreadfully little of his family, tbh. And networking is definitely a good perk, and encouraged in such a fashion!

He's more than welcome to sit with whatever Bulstrodes attend. :D
