Hello, I'm James (Jim). I'll be playing this guy here, Romeo García-Davies. He's a halfblood in every sense of the word. His dad's a muggle, his mamá is a witch... and his dad's English, while his mamá is Mexican.

Romeo has been in the UK since he was eleven. He was born in Mexico, and actually got his letter there, to attend the Mexican version of Hogwarts. But his father, funnily enough, was the one to insist that the family come back to England so that Romeo could go to Hogwarts. (After finding out that his new wife was a witch he panicked a little but then he did research, and he wanted his son to study under Dumbledore, basically).

Hi James! I'm Jess and I have 5 characters here:

Pansy Parkinson - She'd probably sneer at him, but would necessarily go out of her way to pick on him or anything--she's a business woman now, so has to keep that in mind.

Harry Potter - He'd be friendly enough, but they probably wouldn't know each other well right now. Always up for any interactions!

Lisa Turpin - She's a Muggleborn, and owns a bookshop in Monument Alley. She spent the last 7 years in San Francisco and only just moved back. She'd be friendly!

Ben Stebbins - He's one of the bartenders at Finnigan's, so he'd know Romeo from there. He thinks he's adorable, and probably has a big brother attitude towards him.

Terry Boot - He's a Quidditch player, and also a regular at Yoga. He'd definitely join a GSA, and would be friendly enough if not outgoing.

I don't think any of my characters would have known Romeo before, he's quite a bit younger, but there is of course potential for future interaction. He'll be working with both Seamus (openbottle) and Dominic (knowhow) and quite possibly providing them with food, which they'll appreciate.

Gregory Goyle (goyle_g) would be thoroughly confused by gender-binary or GSA stuff, even though his sexuality remains up in the air so it might be useful. I don't think he'd have much patience for it so don't expect sensitivity from him.

Lucy Spinks (addingvalue) is still living in the muggle world for now. She's a bit of a tomboy with feminine qualities too and might find a GSA interesting from that perspective even though she is cishet.

Bryony Capper is the sweetest, shyest thing imaginable. She has many many self esteem issues with her weight, her family, her basically everything. But she would appreciate Romeo's manners.

Welcome to the game (again)! I'm Jaime, and I've 4 people in play - here's a quick link to the links to their bios to save on time.

Ernie: Would think he's adorable, and would def. be up for a GSA sort of group! He'd also love how friendly and approachable Romeo is - something they'd have in common.

Percy: Probably hasn't had a chance to meet him yet much, but would love to throw them together sometime to see how they'd interact.

Gemma: Would at least check out the GSA. And beware, she might see Romeo's friendliness as being the sign of an easy mark - beware should she try to sell him something! lol

Vikesh: Would probably be quite at ease with Romeo's gender identity - in his culture, there is a concept of the Third Gender (am researching as I write him, so am always learning new things as they come up!). Romeo is always welcome at yoga class and for general conversation/interactions!

Hi there Jim! I'm Jinx, and I've got two characters running around.

This here is Marcus Flint. He was a Death Eater during the war, though not by choice, and spent four years in Azkaban after the fact. He now plays Chaser for the Appleby Arrows and would be polite should he and Romeo ever cross paths.

Stacey Rivers (

pinkyink) owns a tattoo parlor in Monument Alley, and is super friendly and hyperactive. She might have known Romeo from Hogwarts (she was a Hufflepuff who graduated in '99) but she would definitely be interested in his GSA group since she's asexual and completely open about that fact. She speaks Spanish as well (her mother and mother's family is Puerto Rican) so there's that as well, and she will find him completely adorable.

Hi Jim! Again,

T'is Kat, and though I know we've talked a little on chat, I'll just give the run-down of my peeps here... alphabetically, I think.

Alicia (this journal) - formerly Spinnet, now Fawley and widowed, Gryffindor, 7 years ahead of Romeo, so she would have left the summer he started. She's part-time Healer for Pride of Portree, co-founder of the Daniel Fawley Foundation, and full-time parent to wins Isla and Liam who will be 6 in December. Like Romeo, she's half-blood (Mother is Muggle, father is Muggleborn). She's kind, big believer in equal opportunities, and always ready for a chat about anything or a band-aid on the scrape (whether it be an actual band-aid, Healing or proverbial).

Finbar Quigley (

_finbar_) - Ravenclaw... several years older than Romeo (I think 12 or so), Beater and Captain for Ballycastle Bats and the Irish National Team. Finbar's a flirt, he may be heterosexual but that doesn't mean that he won't flirt with just about anyone. He's also just recently moved to London to get away from his ex-wife (they're separated and waiting until he can file for an actual divorce) after she burned his house down.

Melinda Bobbin (

_melinda_) - Ravenclaw, 6 years ahead of Romeo, owns and runs Sweet Nothings; the pâtisserie in Monument Alley. Melinda is sweet, as in honey sweet. Kind and levelheaded (which is really annoying when you need her to be upset, fyi ;) ). She's recently (as in just last Friday) been in the press, suspected of giving Oliver Wood Amortentia (she didn't) and am hoping to get all that put behind her.

Finally,

Rose Zeller (

_rose_) - Hufflepuff, 1 year ahead of Romeo, and... she's Rose. Rose is bilingual, too (her mother is Romanian), she haven't responded to her parents' attempts at communication since her 14th birthday for several reasons, she's in her last year of Cursebreaker training, with the team of Cursebreakers working out of Gringott's London branch. She doesn't have a shy bone in her body, except when it comes to he wits, shares a flat with Dennis and is deadly scared of dogs (which makes dating Rolf... interesting). Oh, and uhm... "A rose by any other name..."? Yeah, she's heard that one too quite a few times, so Romeo has her sympathies.

Hi Jim! I know we talked briefly, but I'm Jasmine :) I have the three kids.

This one here is Rolf Scamander, lover of animals and world traveler who is running the family shop and animal rescue, The Bestiary. He was mauled by a gryphon and is here because of that. He might accompany his kick butt girlfriend to the events, if she wants him there :)

pandacharms is Pandora Montgomery, was Slytherin and was forced to be a DE during the war and do bad things to protect her family. She's immensely complicated and reading her CS might be helpful? I don't know.

snitch_snatcher is Viktor Krum, famous Seeker who has been in the rag mags hte last year or so, who is now playing for the Montrose Magpies. He might run into Romeo at the pub. He is bi, for the record, though has never confirmed this to the press, mostly because he hates the press.

Hiya again. This is Caroline.

This is Gwenog, she has zero connection to little baby Gryffs. She's a Harpies Beater and Captain. She's pan and a bit gender non-conforming despite IDing as female, and might show up at q-topia.

Charlie Weasley (

hopalongcharlie) is no longer a dragonkeeper and owns the club Wingbeat. He's ace (romantic aspect undetermined), and runs LGBTQ+ nights Thursdays. He'd be happy to have flyers up, Thursdays especially.

Dean Thomas (

artistdean) is an artist, as implied. I told you about his PTSD, and someone'll give him the downlow soon. He works early shifts and the odd quiet evening. Right now he's busy preparing for an art show so not hanging around as much as he usually would. Seamus' flat is one of his safe spaces though, so he might be seen barrelling through sometimes. Oh, and how does Ro-ro feel about tiny phoenix figures in his kitchen? Because Seamus and Dean have this ongoing game thing. Not anywhere that food prep happens, just out of the way places and only very rarely.

Hi, I'm Natasha and I've got three characters.

Lavender Brown (

angustifolia) is a Hit Wizard and runs the Duelling Club at Finnigan's. So she's fairly regular at Finnigan's. She's most likely to order a steak, the rarer the better. :D

Bryn Cadwallader (

nowinaminute) is a former Hufflepuff and was the year above the Trio, et al. He's the sort to have lots of part-time jobs, and currently works as a barman at Finnigan's and also at Sweet Nothings. He's probably the person who's most likely to be sent to help out in the kitchen when it gets busy.

Lastly, Emma Dobbs (

emmazing) is also a Hufflepuff, having left Hogwarts in 2001. She works for Romilda, both as a shop assistant in Quickpulse and as an escort after hours. So she might vaguely know Romeo? I'm not quite sure.
