Hello, everyone! My name is Christie and I have Blaise Zabini and am looking forward to brushing him off and playing him again.

So, what is there to know about Baise.
1. Blaise works at the Ministry as the Asst. Director of the Gobstones Club. It's not his dream job, but it's something and he does get to travel. Also, as a member of the Department gets to go to any Quidditch game he'd like which is a perk.
2. Yes, he was a smug git back in school. He's still there to a degree but is trying to be open minded about interacting with others. Blood status doesn't matter as much to him as how you fit into his vision for his life.
3. Blaise has always had an eye for the ladies. He treats them like queens when they are in his presence and will flirt with any female any time. Any volunteers for those he's played with in the past. I'd also like for him to have the one that got away that he still wants even though he won't admit it.
4. He lives in a flat south of the river in a Muggle building but still has the Manor in Wiltshire. He throws regular parties for various reasons with various themes. He also allows others to use the manor upon request.

So yeah, there is so much I want to do and grow with him. His full bio is here. Hit me up with your plots, thoughts, and ideas.

Cho would love to help him throw those parties! She's also a total flirt and if you'd like we can say they've flirted in the past :)

I can see him and Cho getting along and being flirty. He probably cringed when she dated Potter after Cedric. I always envision that when he was in school his friends pool consisted of mostly Slytherins with select Ravenclaws.

I love all of this! Adrian's a dork about flying so it would totally be a chance for him to be outside his own grumpy head while in school to work with Blaise. And Cho (now at least) feels the same way about having dates Harry post- Cedric lol.

Yay for Quidditch buddies.

Nice. I have a Cho muse too and in my head canon he only ever dated Harry because she was on a major rebound and he was a direct link to Cedric who was the love of her life.

Hullo :-) I'm Kaylie, friendly neighbourhood mod. Welcome to the game! I've got three characters - sadly in every house but Slytherin.

1. Seamus Finnigan (openbottle), obviously a fairly key figure in this particular game. They'd have had lessons together at school since they're in the same year, Seamus probably wasn't overly fond of him then but he's pretty much over his Slyterhin prejudice now as long as you're not a complete arse.

2. Dominic Chambers (knowhow), pub handyman, the journals are his design. He could help with any magical decorating for those themed parties, that's kind of his thing. He's a Ravenclaw, a year below Blaise, they probably would have played Quidditch against one another a few times so if Blaise wasn't one of those cheating/fouling Slytherin players then he'd respect that.

3. Lucy Spinks (addingvalue) was also in Blaise's year but pretty much kept her head down, worked hard and avoided Slytherins as much as humanly possible. She's muggleborn and genuinely terrible at magic for various reasons. I've assumed some of the Slytherins would have picked on her for that. Up to you if Blaise was one of them. She's been away from the magical world for seven years now and isn't officially back in it yet.

Seamus - Blaise can still be an arse not because he's trying to but because it is deeply ingrained in his personality. However, you really have to push his buttons to get the full horrible treatment.

Dominic - Blaise played the game properly. He is not one for underhandedness. What you saw with him was what you got. You either liked him or you didn't and he didn't care one way or the other. Other than Slytherins he was pretty accepting of Ravenclaws if you'd like for them to have had a slight friendship in school. Though I see Dominic is a Muggleborn and if that was something he flaunted Blaise would have been all ugh toward him. Anyone who really worked up their blood status got on his nerves.

Lucy - Blaise didn't really pick on people unless they gave him a specific reason to. That's not to say he didn't stand in the background when the others were doing so. He wouldn't have participated but he also wouldn't have stopped it.

I think Seamus can deal with that, as long as Blaise isn't spouting off about blood purity all the time. He doesn't stand for that in his bar.

Dominic didn't flaunt his blood, but he wouldn't have hidden it either. Maybe they sort of tolerated each other but weren't really close?

Fair enough, she'll probably still be wary of him then.

Blaise never really cared about blood purity but he did play the game. He is smart enough that he only talks mudbloods etc among like minded individuals in private.

I would say yes to toleration.

Smart girl.

Hi again, Christie,

This is Kat, Alicia's player, with my second and newest character; Melinda Bobbin.

So yes, when it comes to the two girls:

Alicia ([info]_alicia_) - Gryffindor, 2 years older than Blaise, widow, mother of twins Isla and Liam (almost 6 years old), Healer for Pride of Portree and as you already know co-founder of The Daniel Fawley Foundation. Somehow I doubt that the two of them had anything to do with each other back in school. Afterwards, however... Like you mentioned, Blaise wanting to volunteer for the foundation is brilliant, though for how long he has volunteered is up to you (after all, the foundation is 6'ish years old, right?). If he's been part of it for a while, he would probably be one of the not-too-many people who knows that Alicia is the co-founder and he could have been part of some of the events that they've done in the past (and recently) such as getting the kids ready for school or escorting them to the train. He's also in a position where he could maybe pull some strings or work out some perks for the kids who could use a little extra? Really, the possibilities are endless. And finally, the Fawley's (the family she married into) are old Purebloods, so maybe he's familiar with them?

Melinda Bobbin ([info]_melinda_) - Will be getting her own intro post once I'm done with the menu for her shop. Anyway, she's Ravenclaw, 1 year older than Blaise, best friends with Cho (and lives right above her), owns and runs the pâtisserie Sweet Nothings which is on the ground floor of the building she lives in. Melinda's sweet (yes, just like the cakes and desserts she makes for a living) and while she likes to flirt, she's not aggressive in that department and is content with letting more interesting and exotic people (like Cho, for instance) do that. She's been in Monument Alley since it started, and I'm open for all ideas and plots with her :)

Alicia - I agree they didn't really know each other in school. He may have known the Fawley family but wasn't likely to have really hung out with them unless they were in the DE centric circles where his Mum liked to intertwine herself. He's probably only been involved for the past three years or so. It would have been something he did to make himself look better at work. He is most likely to give a monetary donation or open the Manor up for galas.

Melinda - Honestly I can see her being shy even more reason for Blaise to aggressively flirt with her. He likes a challenge. The harder they seem to be to get the more he wants to pursue them. Since she's friends with Cho he likely knows her.

No, I think it's safe to say that the Fawley's weren't in the DE centric circles :) Monetary donations and aid in that way goes a long way towards her being inclined to recognise him for someone other than that Slytherin pretty-boy.

Melinda isn't shy, per se, she's simply used to attention being on other people. That, however, doesn't mean that she's likely to just give in either. We'll see how those two work out and take it from there, yes?

Blaise is a little offended, he's still that Slytherin pretty-boy.

Ahhh, got it. He'll still flirt because face it, she's female and she walks. Definitely see what happens when they interact.

Hi, welcome. I'm Caroline. This is Dean.

Pending chatting about the potential connection I doubt they had much connection beyond classes at Hogwarts. And avoidance on Dean's part in DA year.

Since then their only interaction is likely to be when Dean's behind the bar or otherwise at the pub. I mean Dean's not unfriendly but he's wary so he'd be likely not to try too much interaction unless he was actually working.

Yeah they would have ignored each other most likely at school and I don't see Blaise really interacting with the staff at the pub.

Hello! I'm Dylan, and this is Susan.

Not sure how well they would have known one another at school, but Susan works at the Ministry as an Auror so I think there's definitely room for social interactions post-Hogwarts?

They probably ignored each other, she is a Hufflepuff after all. Work interactions can be fun though I can't promise he'll be anything more than his surly self.

Hi Christie! It's Sarah (one of a million, I know) but we've played together in the past in various games. (AIM is oliverwoodwood)

ANYWAY, I just have Oliver at the moment, though my Astoria app is in as well :) Oliver would probably not have really paid much attention to Blaise in school since he was so much younger and didn't play quidditch. But if you're not a Death Eater he's at least willing to give you a shot and he'd probably talk quidditch with him since Blaise is in the Department and Ollie plays for Puddlemere. I'd say cautiously friendly at least :)

Why hello there. Yes, I think I was in a game with upwards of three of you Sarah's at one time.

Astoria is one muse of mine that I haven't been able to get talking in awhile. Though I tend to play for a while with one before trying to add a second.

Blaise did play quidditch but only after Oliver was gone. No, he wasn't a Death Eater and neither were any of his step dads so there is no real family connection though he's been led to believe his biological dad was a DE. Yes business friends works.
