Hi guys! I'm back and I've missed you all

I'm still battling headaches so I might be a bit spotty until I get some medication sorted out, but I'll do my best until I'm well again

Theo's out of the Janus Thickey ward and back home and Merwyn continues to be drunk

Anyone new since I went AFK, please throw plots my way if there are any

Not exactly new but kind of! I'm Mercy, and I brought in Zacharias Smith (this journal) and Orla Quirke (

quirkybeater), probably around the time you were away. I'll make this as short and sweet as possibly lol Zacharias is a Hufflepuff, Unspeakable, and member of the Committee on Experimental Charms. Orla's a Ravenclaw and Beater for the Montrose Magpies. Both are always available for random encounters and plottings (except when Orla's got a game), and I think I might have actually replied to an open post of yours maybe but if so no worries or rush or anything! I just can't remember who it was to now...

Anyway hello! Welcome back! I can 100% sympathize with the headaches (of doom I presume because mine were/are) and really hope that they get better!!!

I love random encounters! I'm not sure what Zach and Theo will make of each other, but Theo was friendly with some Claws once and Merwyn has a thing about Quidditch so meeting Orla might be bittersweet

Oh they are terrible, they're so bad. I've had this one since yesterday and it's not letting up at all, it makes me want to cry

I don't know, either, but I see Theo and Ernie are friendly, and Zacharias is not antagonistic toward Ernie (and on a good day or a drunk night might call him a friend lol), and I think he commented to Theo about the rats and sincerely meant what he said about his condolences, sending flowers, etc. He's not a total ass on purpose. He's mostly just guarded with a side of doubtful, a helping of curious, and a dash of snarky. When did Merwyn have to quit Quidditch? Orla's been playing for three years, this is her third, and spent two with Appleby, so if he was around, they could have met! I imagine she felt bad about what happened and would feel bad in a sort of pitying way about where Merwyn is now, and it's possible she'd try to reach out to him in a friend/non user-y way.

Anyway! Yes, random encounters are always fine with me and mine! (Ah, rhyming unintended lol)

I'm so sorry about your headache. I hope it's better today. I had one once for ten days before I went to the hospital, though they couldn't do anything. Ended up self-diagnosing that particular set cause they couldn't do crap. :X But I've had those awful ones that last days and nothing helps, so I really do feel your pain, and I really hope they can get sorted and put on their way away from you.

Cuteness - Theo and Rolf could bond over animals? Or thestrals. IDK if he would hang out with Merwyn one drunken evening?

and Re: Pandora, I have this line open for Theo - Maybe even a girl that he was betrothed to, or a betrothal was discussed by their families; he would have always been clear with her that it wasn't wht he wanted, but they can be siblingy type friends, she could have wanted to get married and feel heartbroken and/or angry, or relieved, she could be gay herself and they could find common ground there - IDK if this would fit, dw if not, just throwing it out there :)

I think that would be adorable, and they'd totally bond over them! And he might do that, yes; Rolf doesn't usually get drunk-drunk, but he can keep up to an extent :)

It could actually work, if I tweak her history just a smidge. Her parents are the sort who were looking toward a marriage future; her aunt is more of the same, wanting to "get rid of her" in the most legal way possible. I can see them as being close friends, though how her being a DE (to protect her family) would factor into that is a question. She also spent a chunk of time at St Mungos after the war, losing her shit so completely at the final battle. Hmmmmm. Ponder ponder ponder.
