Hey

finnigansmod! This is Sarah. Hi. I've been in this game since the start, but for a variety of reasons, hadn't gotten to post as much as normal lately. For those of you who know me, I'm a teacher at a high school, and the last couple weeks have been pretty hard. I've worked non-stop and haven't had many days off since the start of school, and then our drama teacher gave notice and the school asked me to sub. Which is great for my wallet, insane for my mind. It basically doubled my workload. So it has left me drained and with less RP mojo than I would have liked. So sorry if I have been slow on threads, I love all of you!

For new people, there are so many intros I don't know if I can hit them all. So I thought I'd reintro my 4 pups, and see if I can make connections! I'm open for any and everything for them, and I'll include some specific lines I'd be interested in for them if anyone wants to be enabled!

Okay, so it speaks to my level of fatigue when I was about to ask you if you'd been around for Rose's introduction...

Anyway, Rose is headed off on a mission this weekend or Monday, to Indonesia (I think we settled on that) and if Eddie is well enough, he should come along too.

But while you've been gone (AND OMG!! YOU'RE BACK!), Alicia and Adrian have gotten their shit together, and are off to Rome this weekend, because, well, they're not completely public yet. Oliver knows, of course, both about them and Rome.

Melinda is both on cloud 9 and highly frustrated with what's just happened with Oliver, but you already know that.

Rose... went to Greece with Rolf, and is no longer single. Dunno if Eddie would know that, but it's pretty dramaless and they're not obnoxious about it, at least not when around people. When they're alone? Yeah, they're pretty slushy.

and then I've brought in my own huge Quidditch player, who's been intro'ed though not yet played in this game: Mister Finbar Quigley - Beater and Captain for Ballycastle Bats and the Irish National Team. Fin's just moved to London (late August, I think) after his ex-wife burned down his house. They've been separated since December, when she had a son, who wasn't Finbar's, and has basically been a nightmare since 2 years ago, when Fin refused to quit Quidditch. He's a Ravenclaw (Finished in 1990, so would have overlapped with Oliver by a couple of years) and his whole tl;dr profile is here - feel free to skip to the bottom for the recent history which isn't all public knowledge, just his separation which has been seen as the reason for his crappiness on the Pitch lately.

Uhm... yeah, I'm going to end my rant here, and then continue it if/when needed :D

Yes for Eddie off to Indonesia. SORRY SUSAN! He'll send owls full of questions about Time Turner's Tales and NO FEELS.

And aww Adrian and Alicia make Oliver's heart happy. HE WILL BABBYSIT AND PLAY TEA AND DRESS UP SHUSH I KNOW ONE KID IS A BOY HE CARES SO LITTLE.

Oliver wants to punch all the things and whisk Mel back to cloud 9. I am mean to him.

AWW ROLF AND ROSE. We need to do things with Rose/Astoria/Rolf because she's the one i need the most plot for :P She wants to hear all about it, she adores Rolf to the moon.

And omg FINBARRRRRRR. Oliver and Fin should be friends, he can stay on the couch in his microscopic flat any time and also drink and forget about teal deers. <3333 HE LOOKS GREAT!

I WANT TO SEE HIM BABYSIT and I still need to do those descriptions of the kidlets, but basically Isla's the tomboy flyer Oliver fangirl and Liam's the quieter one, except when it comes to music

YES, ROLF AND ROSE AND THEY'RE OBNOXIOUSLY SWEET AND CUTE AND HOT. We should do something with them. Rose isn't the jealous type but she is protective, though I think she'll have heard about Astoria.

Lol, yes, Finbar, and I'm just going to leave this here to best show what the idea of Fin staying on Oliver's couch looked like. He might take him up on it, though he does have a big house, usually filled with his too large family (nieces and nephews that are between 20 and his age). It's Unplottable, but that's only to keep the ex-wife away. An invitation to go there is a standing one and doesn't expire unless you've seriously messed with him or someone he cares about - again, it only applies to Ruby. But yes!! They should have beers and Irish whiskey (as opposed to the Scotch whisky Oliver might prefer - making this up as I go, and I need a nap!), and yes, they're friends and rivals, and it works!

	Okay, just putting it out there for posterity before I forget again, but Oliver's miniscule flat HAS to be used for a crashing place for several big Quidditch guys at once, because seeing them navigate that small space all at once, probably hungover too, would... yes. Come over for brunch. Oliver's message yesterday had been pretty clear, though when there was no answer to her knock on the door, Melinda frowned slightly. Balancing the box of various breakfast pastries and pots of coffee and tea against her hip, she opened the door, slightly concerned until she nearly tripped over a pair of muscular, naked legs. Completely still in her spot, she hadn’t a clue what to say or do or even think as the view began to settle in. She was pretty sure that the two men spooned up on the sofa was Viktor Krum and Finbar Quigley, and was that Katie Bell sprawled on top of them? The legs she had nearly tripped over, she learned, definitely belonged to Terry, she learned, when she got a glimpse of his face from where the was snuggled against the table leg. Carefully she stepped in further, quietly pushing aside an empty bottle and had to bite her lip to keep from laughing when her eyes fell on Rogers face squished against Oliver’s leg, and Oliver’s other leg dangling over the edge of the raised plateau his bed was on. Reaching up, she gave his hand a gentle squeeze, hoping her waking him up wouldn’t send him tumbling over the edge. “I brought breakfast.”

YAY YOU'RE BACK!

We totes need to do something with Rolf and Astoria. He's now with Rose (WHOO AND SO OVER THE MOON DOPEY ABOUT IT), and it would be fun to do something yes. He would gush to her likely even though he wouldn't really in public to others but oh he's dopey because he realized he loves her and has for years. Lol.

And I've brought in Pandora (this journal) HERE, and warning it's long and complicated just like her. Lemme do the gist though:
~ Oliver - might remember her from Quidditch at school, I think that time overlapped some, she was a wicked Beater until she was shunted to reserves in favor of BOYS. I don't know how much of her subsequent stuff he would hear, as a lot was rumor and people choose to believe what they want.

~ Eddie - they were yearmates, so they would have had classes together. She was a prefect and everything was good, she socialised with all houses, with eveyrone generally knowing she wanted to be with the MLE upon graduation. He would remember her little brother's death, but how much subsequently I'm not sure.

~ Astoria - She would remember Pandora as her prefect and a potential head girl. She would have been good to the younger years, especially when they also socialised outside the House. She would also remember the little brother's death, and how PAnda's entire behaviour changed afterward. There are other sibs too, so she might know them. I'm vague on their details, hoping someone will take them. What else she knows, again, up to you. She might know a lot more through her connection to Draco.

~ Megan - close in years, might remember Pandora and her sibs. Not sure how much or well on her personally though, but I'm open.

Also, totally open to discussing the specifics of what they might know, and if they're friendly to her now or haven't seen her in ages. Sorry to make you read the long app, but yes.

AND FINALLY, I am working on Viktor Krum, so if you want to add plot into that, I am definitely up for it.

YAY I AM! I'm sorry I flaked on our thread, I love Astoria and Rolf, so i defintely want to do a thread or journal post of him telling her about Rose. She'll be so happy for him :D God, I need a Draco though haha. You don't have a Draco muse, do you?

Oliver: He doesn't pay attention to rumors TOO much (lol as you can see) but he would respect fellow players and probably felt annoyed on her behalf. Clearly Oliver favored having girls as players since all his Chasers were ladies.

Eddie: Yes, classes together. She probably had to give him detention on occasion, he wasn't always the best with words and keeping his to himself. Up to you on how much he'd know, but he's friendly as hell.

Astoria: Would remember and have looked up to her. She definitely associated outside her house (Rolf was one of her best friends), so yeah. She would remember the death and have been shocked about it :(

Megan: I'm up for anything. If she's a customer she would be really friendly and kind, and she's bubbly and outgoing anyway, so randoms are totally possible.

Yesssss to Viktor! Oliver would respect him like mad, he watched him in the World Cup final when he was just a reserve for Puddlemere so he would respect the hell out of him even if he's younger.

No worries. Real life happens, and we totally need to do another with them soon. You do need a Draco! I've never been great at doing Draco, unfortunately, or I'd totally offer; I usually do the other Slytherin boys (Blaise and Theo).

Oliver: Good to know. She was a bit jealous to not have someone to back her up as a girl on the team in Slytherin, and wishes she'd had someone like Oliver who would do that.

Eddie: She probably would have then, yes. He can know as much as you want, really; a lot of people poo on her doing it to protect her family. Many people still think she's a little nuts (she is, a smidge), and don't trust her for her Mark. So how he takes it, or if he even knows...

Astoria: Pandora remembers, and approved and fostered that.

Megan: I would say she's a customer, when she has a few extra coins to spend. She likes such things.

*grins* I'm still trying to decide if he's playing or coaching. ARGH. I need help with decisions :P

Eddie: He'd be less likely to judge than some. He wasn't DA after all, and even if he's anti evil stuff, man...if Laila was killed, he might have gone nuts too.

Well, I mean, depends on his back story. He's REALLY young to have been retired unless he got a horrible injury or something.

I'd be thrilled for that. He might tell her some on the journal and meet up with her again :) He can be sappy with her, at least, lol. Yeah, stupid RL. *sporks it for you* You will, you will! I will think on him, but no promises as I've always played against him (my Blaise often has a huge thing for him, lol, or at least a big friendship). We should advertise for you a Draco!

Eddie: Her brother's death did eff her up, and she had to protect the others... she thinks a lot of people might have done some bad things to protect their families, even if they won't admit it.

Hm true. Something I was thinking of last night. He did retire due to something that happened two years ago, but I doubt anyone would be surprised to find him coming back.

I think Emma would really like Megan. She works for Romilda both in the shop and after hours, so I have a feeling that all of her lingerie comes from Hot Crossed Buns. So I think she's probably happy to chat about romance novels as well when she pops into the shop!

Bryn probably serves Megan when she comes into Finnigan's or Sweet Nothings. I'm not sure how good he is at flirting, but that's always an option if you're interested.

We discussed Zacharias and Megan making friends cowering in the Hog's Head during the battle! I also brought in Orla Quirke, who's a Ravenclaw and beater for Montrose Magpies (Appleby Arrows before being traded between last season and this season), so she and Oliver could know each other through Quidditch stuff/events (cause I assume they have events). She's also auctioned off some jewelry before (I think just three things, and I think two people wanted something, so there's one left if any of your characters want to have won it for a good cause that I don't know about rn but probably kids or something) and is idly considering looking more into it as a viable business option (with my ooc thoughts of possibly selling them at Romilda's shop and Megan's shop if it happens in game and Megan's up for it. She'd get in touch, of course, if she does go through with it).

That's kind of it. Pretty simple on my end XD

Oliver would definitely be friendly with Orla, he likes most quidditch players and is cool with that! I'd definitely but up for anything being sold in Megan's shop you like, just let me know :) And Astoria could possibly be friendlish to Zacharias too if you'd like :D Also, Orla should know Eddie from Ravenclaw as well.

She's pretty friendly so wouldn't be a bitch or anything to Oliver! I'll let you know if Orla gets to that point with the shop! And I'd be up for Astoria and Zacharias being friendly/not assholes to each other! And she started in 94 if that helps with a timeline for how long Eddie and Orla could have known each other!

Marcus and Oliver are bros, but that's already been established lol. And he needs to met Astoria properly so they can have ridiculously polite conversations.

Stacey would probably know Megan from school? And she'd probably get along well with Eddie, I think. For some inexplicable reason I want to throw her and Astoria together because they are such opposites that I think it would be fun.

And yes! She would remember her, perhaps they could be pretty good friends? Her friends were off in DA and she was too scared to join so maybe she hung out with her? And Eddie gets along with anyone haha. So sure! And yes! Please do! Astoria needs the most plot, really.

Terry here with Richard Summerby. Played Chaser for the Puff team until he took Cedric's place as Seeker so he's plagued against Ollie. Friendly rivals? Rich turned down a chance to play Seeker or Chaser for the FAlcons, so maybe Oil still kids him about going to the dark side - broom racing?

Rich no doubt knows Astoria from the 'social registry' sort if gatherings.

Eddie probably knows him for seeing Anna, a Ravenclaw girl who died in the Battle of Hogwarts.

I'll offer him up for Megan, although he has bad commitment issues. Take a look at his app and see what you think.

Astoria needs more polite people around. She is much more comfortable around society folks, maybe he comes in for robes from her shop?

He would feel bad about that, sheesh. But he'll talk to anyone so there's that.

hah, well, maybe a short fling after she separates for her husband? Who knows, we could play it by ear :D

SO I realised we never talked Astoria and Greg! I know it's a little tricky when we don't have a Draco yet, but still. I think Greg is totally confused by this whole Draco-and-Pansy not being a couple anymore thing, but Draco is still Draco so Greg will be protective of/towards Astoria should she ever need him to be. (That doesn't mean he stops Pansy complaining about her...)

He could also definitely use someone to make sure he is dressed okay!
