Name: Emmy
Fandom(s) you are working on for this fest: Pretear, YuGiOh, Crescent Moon
Participation: (Writer/artist/beta/other. Include which you are doing for this fest, as I need to know this in order to make the meme challenges helpful.) Writer

The one item from your list that you most want to complete: 100songs fics, especially the prompt of "The First Cut is the Deepest"
Items with a deadline other than this fest: [info]obscurefandom's October Challenge(due Oct 31), [info]50icons(Nov 24), Lyrical Lit Challenge(Oct 31), news story on NaNoWriMo for my journalism class(Oct 31), NaNoWriMo(will be 50k/30 days in Nov, due 11:59pm on Nov 31)...and i think that's it. XD
Most fun item on your list: probably the 100songs fics again.
Item you are dreading the most/need the most encouragement on: The Hidden Pasts, Secret Dreams story of the Broken Angel Arc. (Mostly because as with most writers I hate having to erase what I've already written to make it better).
How do you start a project?(Do you take vague notes, outline extensively, dive deep into research?) depends on the project. usually i just jump headfirst when I get an idea. On occasion I take notes.
In what conditions do you work best? (Time of day, the place you like to work in, the medium, for example.) I work best at night, in my room or at the school library, and usually with a notebook. I transcribe everything to the laptop later, usually.
One thing that always inspires you to create: (Anything. A quote, book, movie, artist, fanfiction, anything. Share with us, in hopes that we will be inspired by it as well.)
Blunt, but true, this is what inspires me:
"Finally, one just has to shut up, sit down, and write." -Natalie Goldberg, Writing Down the Bones
(I actually make this my mantra every november when i participate in NaNoWriMo)...It's true--the only way to get written work done is to write. XD
One general thing you would really like to improve on: (Overall; doesn't have to be specific to an item on your list.) getting stuff done on time and keeping organized about it. XD
Advice and/or questions regarding the creative process that you have for the other members of the community:
I've got lots of advice that i actually got from Chris Baty's NaNoWriMo instruction guide(No Plot No Problem):
1.The Magna Cartas I & II, What you like in books and what you hate in books, respectively, which hint at what you love and hate to write.

2. Time finder--this is where you go through your schedule and find all the stuff you can forget in exchange for writing--stuff like: sleeping in, updating your journal, surfing the net, and checking email and messengers obsessively, if you're me.

And a question to you all: How do you keep organized?

A teaser from something you've got at least partially done:
this is from the [info]50episodes:Sasame list prompt 44. silk sheets.
Nestled in Silk Sheets(surprisingly this is a worksafe portion of a scene of a story that will be nsfw) )
