- a fake boyfriend for a bisexual girl currently dating another girl (I Like a Boy In Uniform)
- the one guy in the world who wont sleep with self-assured and goofy aspiring rockstar even though he would totally be monogamous for him, seriously!! (Laura)
- fellow band members of said rockstar
- a TON of siblings (6!) for a Catholic geek (Space Game), specifically:
-- the spoiled 20 year old sister forced to share a room with her stoner, slacker 24 year old brother
-- the poor 14 year old sister overwhelmed by her crazy family and forced to share a room with her 17 year old geek brother
- a female geekbff to complete the Triforce of Geekish Awesome with aforementioned Catholic geek and his (male) bff
- a fake boyfriend. When Izzy started showing an interest in her appearance and a tendency to stay out late, her parents got worried. Luckily, her (straight male) best friend is the perfect cover for when she goes out clubbing with her girlfriend and/or gay best friend. The only problem is, it's totally a fake relationship for her, but he's actually genuinely in love with her. I was hoping for a PB of Adam Brody with the song A Postcard to Nina by Jens Lekman, but I'm open-minded!
- a "rival in love." Izzy is "dating" her straight best friend, dating a girl, and secretly in love with her gay best friend. To complicate her love life further, there's another girl in her life - but this girl wants to date Izzy's straight best friend. Izzy wouldn't care, but she needs her beard. She feels bad for keeping this girl's crush away from her, of course... but not that bad. PB is totally up to you! Love You Much Better by The Hush Sound would be a great song, but that's not at all set in stone.
- Svetlana! The third in a less than illustrious line of wives, Svetlana is the one Walter is planning on keeping around. She's beautiful, exotic, and one of few people who can calm Walter down if by sheer virtue of her incredible rack. To be honest, Walter doesn't really know her interests or hobbies - all he knows is she's much better than his first two wives. Her 17 year old stepson Collis is incredibly embarrassed by the fact that all of his friends think she's unspeakably hot. Not their fault, really, because she totally is. I don't have any PB suggestions other than "hottt"; as far as songs go, Baby Baby Baby by Make The Girl Dance comes to mind, or I Know What Boys Like by The Waitresses. That's all flexible, though. Have you noticed I'm flexible?
- his ex-wives. Walter married his first wife, Collis' mother, out of love; he married his second wife, Reginald's mother, for status. Both marriages ended badly - Collis' mother was poor, so he ended up divorcing her and leaving her a lower-middle-class schoolteacher who only saw her son on the news; Reginald's mother cheated on him with some middle class schmuck and their relationship is tense at best. Walter and Collis' mother don't talk a lot, but I know that Collis' player would love to have her around. As for Reginald's mother... custody battles? I don't even know. But there's definitely room for snarky banter - especially if she remarried to someone else in Lyric's elite who works at CW.
- "Uncle Darby." Uncle Darby is more or less the pipe dream of myself and Luis, who plays Walter's youngest (and favorite son), Reginald. Uncle Darby (Thomas Edward Darby Excelsior "Darby" Von Hutton VI) is Walter's friend from Holywood and, later, Yale. Their blueblood romance is basically like a finely aged version of Walter and Reginald's BFF-ship, which makes sense, since Darby is more or less Reginald grown up - irresponsible, spoiled, a player, and way too cool for everything. He's one of few people that Walter doesn't regularly rage at, and he probably hangs out with the Christos clan on a regular basis. (Also Luis and I were joking that since they were part of that whole "Yale Thing" Walter and Darby were probably gay in college, but that's 100% up to you.) He basically must be played by Brad Pitt; as for songs, Luis and I brainstormed a few (Sharp Dressed Man, 99 Problems, The Boy's Bad News, things like that) but you've got some artistic liberties, here.
- the rest of his band! The Napoleon Fightmasters need a vocalist, a guitarist, a drummer, and a keyboardist - or something. I'm flexible on band positions. Their sound is sort of like Bowling for Soup, Green Day, and Weezer's bastard child, and their most recent local hits were "My Back Pocket," "Calhoun Was Framed," and "Booster Standard." PBs and songs are all up to you! My Own Worst Enemy (Lit) and Bad Reputation (Joan Jett) come to mind. I have said repeatedly that I would absolutely die for Get It Up (MSI) as their vocalist.
- the one he can't get. Like I said, Em tends to sleep around - and with ease, considering his looks, charm, quasi-fame, and complete willingness to put out - but there's just one guy that, for whatever reason, he can't seem to land. It's ironic, too, that this is the one person Em would consider being even briefly monogamous for. PB/song are up to you, although the I Wear My Sunglasses At Night (Corey Hart) premade could work.
- former flames. Ah, yes... cougars. There are two specifically that I'm looking for - "Laura" and "Freida" (names are 100% up to you). Laura was Em's first cougar; they started dating when he was 19 or 20 and were together for almost three years. She was never really emotionally invested in him, but he still feels the need to prove himself to her, and constantly seeks her praise and approval on his various successes. Their relationship is very different than the one Em has with Freida, his most recent flame. Their courtship, if you could call it that, was a brief and tumultuous six months of absolute insanity that ultimately ended because Em couldn't get the aforementioned "one he can't get" out of his head. Frieda broke up with him not only for actively cheating on her, but for spending more time talking about some guy than he did actually with her. The break-up was very recent, so they're still on very bad terms.
- his sister Tati. Tatiana Andrade is three years older than Iggy (20), and is probably the most spoiled of all the Andrade children. She's a PoliSci major at University of California - Lyric, so she's not a stupid girl, but she's certainly got all the markings of a ditzy cheerleader; good looks, an incredible whine, and a sense of entitlement to everything she wants. Iggy and Tati shared a room in the 4-bedroom Andrade household from the time that Tati was 9 until she left for college... and then again after she came back from college, claiming she would rather be with her family than on campus. In all actuality, Iggy thinks she just wants to mooch. Iggy and Tati got in a huge fight over something trivial a few months after she came back, and Tati ended up moving into their older brother Quintian's room. Quint is a slacker, stoner, and major asshole (PB'd by James Franco), and I know I don't speak for myself alone when I say that the household dynamics would be hilarious with Tati in game! Song is up to you. PB-wise, Iggy is PB'd by Anton Yelchin, so anyone who looks remotely related to him (and James) should be fine. Leighton Meester has been suggested.
- his sister Juliet. Julietta is the oldest at 29. She is the most like their mother; a devout Catholic, HBIC, and Irish to her core in spite of her father's heritage. She married an Irishman (her surname is Sheedy) and has a few kids of her own, but still lives in Lyric because she knows it would break her Ma's heart if she moved away. Juliet moved out of the house when Iggy was about 6, but she more or less raised the majority of her siblings, and she still mothers them all tirelessly. Song is up to you; Rachel Weisz or Jennifer Morrison have been suggested for PBs.
- his brother Isaac. Isaac is the second oldest at 27, and he's definitely his mother's favorite if only because of his incredible success. Unfortunately, he's also a terrible Catholic - he's hardly Catholic at all - which can occasionally cause tension, as his mother loves to berate the other kids for not being as successful as he is while berating him for not being as Catholic as Juliet is. Still, he's definitely one of the better liked Andrade children, if only for his incredible charm. He's engaged to be married, but only his brothers Quint, Matt, and Iggy know that his fiancee is Protestant (which would give his mother a heart attack). Song is up to you; Ioan Gruffudd has been suggested for a PB.
- his sisters Ursula and Veronica. Sue and Ron are twins, 16, and if Tati is a ditzy cheerleader, they're Queen Bees. They attend Susanna Rice, Lyric's all-girl's school, and they rule their clique with iron fists. Beautiful, cruel, and totally embarrassed by their 100% lame geek brother (not to mention their stoner brother, ughhh). Songs are up to you; the Prescott and Olsen twins have been suggested for PBs, but the PBs don't have to be twins, and they don't necessarily have to be identical, either!
- his sister Zita. Zita is the second youngest (the youngest is Justin at 8, who is a bit young for play) at 14 years old. Zee and Iggy have been sharing a room since Tati and Iggy's argument, which isn't that big of a problem since Iggy is used to rooming with girls (sigh). Iggy likes Zee, but he's usually too caught up in his own life to really reach out to her. He makes the effort when he remembers to, if only because she seems as overwhelmed by their insane family as he was at her age. Song is up to you; Christie Dupree has been suggested.
- his other geek bff4life. Together, Iggy, his bff Riley/RJ, and unnamed girlbff are the Triforce of Geeky Godliness. They've all known each other forever and are basically in all kinds of geek love with each other. Proof? For the Dark Knight premiere, Iggy dressed as Dick Grayson, Riley dressed as Tim Drake, and girlbff dressed as Steph Brown. That's deep nerd love. Iggy and girlbff went out for a while - how long and when is up to you - and even though they've broken up, the group dynamic is still strong. Iggy is (very, very, very agonizingly slowly) coming to terms with the fact that he's more gay than he is straight (a Kinsey 4, to be specific), and RJ is (also very very slowly) coming to terms with the fact that he's got it bad for his male bff, so girlbff is needed to facilitate/comment on/be awkward about/whatever said development in the group dynamic! No preference for songs or PBs, really, although Ellen Page has been bandied about as a possibility.
