C'est moi & my character: Hi, I'm Lauren and I play Scorpius Malfoy (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) pinot_scorpius) in ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) bravenew_rpg. Scorpius can be a bit sarcastic, possibly mean, and possibly jealous of those who have happy Muggleloving families. However, he'd never admit to any of these faults. He sees himself as charming, cunning, and clever. He wants to prove his family's worth and he also wants to prove that the Ministry is a corrupt useless organisation prone to failing as it did in the past. It is safe to say Scorpius focuses more on the past than the present or the future.
The Game: Brave New World is set during the 2022-2023 school year. While the main plot is the upcoming Ministry elections, the mods also introduce little mini-plots via 'plot of the week' posts. More about the game can be found ici: bravenew_rpg.
Who I am looking for: First, Scorpius just realized his fourth cousin Rose Weasley is not in the game. I see Scorpius as having a somewhat awkward friendship with Rose, depending on how she is played and especially if she is friends with Albus. He'd like it if she could help him develop his political ideas and it is possible she created his present interest in Muggle books [we could work out whatever type of friendship you see fit]. Also, it's possible Scorpius may pretend to court Miss Weasley. The rest of the Weasley social network is basically in play, minus Fred and Roxanne, so Rose would have friends and family outside of Scorpius.
Second, Scorpius would like to see a Pascal Zabini. Scorpius is not his father [and thus does not have minions] but he sees Pascal as somewhat like his 'partner in crime' or 'the boy he should be molding to live a better life'. He recently sent Pascal a book of Blaise Pascal's philosophy, half jokingly half seriously. Also, Pascal's sister, Renee, is in play -- so it'd be a merry family reunion.
Finally, Scorpius would like to see some more Slytherin 6th years to develop the Slytherin dynamic. Possibly his Quidditch mates? And equally, he needs some Gryffindor 6th years with whom he can develop pretend rivalries. Perhaps Nicodemus Vance, Patrick Wood, Rhys Branson?

Hello! I have a very broad request: I'm in search of a game. I do tend to have difficulty getting into games that have been around for ages, so I would prefer a game that hasn't yet opened, or hasn't been in play for too long. I'm in the mood for a lighter premise, though I wouldn't be completely adverse to a darker plot. And most importantly (and as unavoidable as they may be) I want to join a game that isn't overly cliquey. I'm open to Hogwarts-era, post-warts, and future-warts games, and I do play a large variety of characters. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I'm posting on behalf of Cortinula!, which can be accessed via teakettled. We're set in the Marauders' Era, during their seventh year. Tons of characters are still available, but, of course, I have my own selfish desire!
I play Mary MacDonald: Muggleborn, practically clueless, and too talkative for her own good. These attributes have actually gotten her into trouble in the past- namely with Mulciber. He thought it would be funny to do a bit of Dark Magic on her during either her third or fourth year. I'd love to have him around just to get a handle on how Mary acts around those who have made it impossible for her to be completely ignorant of her status in the Wizarding world.
We're also greatly in need of Peter (what MWPP game isn't?) and characters from houses other then Gryffindor.
We start January 1st!
