About me and the character I play: Hi, I'm Julia and I've been role-playing for nearly four years now. Today, I'm here on behalf of Molly Weasley though I also play Draco Malfoy.
Character wanted to fill an SL & why: I know he's not played too much, but Arthur Weasley would have a full plate of awesome plot if he joined. We have an active Bill, Charlie, Percy, Ron, and Ginny besides Molly for him to interact with as well as many other adults like Frank, Sirius, James, Lily, etc. Right now, Molly's worrying about Charlie who is having a baby with Tonks. The pair can't be together since the Blacks are threatening to kill the baby and Tonks' parents, but Molly has agreed to help Charlie protect and keep the baby. She's also fretting over Ron's friendship with Draco Malfoy. Draco might or might not get disowned, but the real issue is that his nuttier relatives know he's anything less than Voldemort's obedient servant which not only puts Draco at risk, but Ron. Molly's proud Ron's supporting a friend, but is unsure what to do to help. I've always imagined Arthur wouldn't be so quick to accept a Malfoy so it would be interesting to play that out for both my characters and Ron.
I know that's a lot of established plot, but it's fairly simple to jump right in and we've had new players recently do just that. If interested, you can leave me a comment here and I'll reply as quickly as possible! You can also always talk to the mods who are very helpful with cluing in new players.

Don't be discouraged by the 'crack' premise. The game really has quite a few quality players with the added bonus of being inclusive and nice.
