Hi there! I'm looking for a couple of characters in particular for the about-to-open-in-five-days ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) contentious. The game is set in 2001, and is canon sans the epilogue. It's light in themes - but has an overall plot to direct the game that centers around the transitory stage that Wizarding society experiences after the war. We have a cast of interesting characters that come from diverse backgrounds and an excellent collection of players who I'm extremely excited to be playing with.
We very recently accepted a Marietta Edgecombe and would love her best friend CHO CHANG about! Cho has lots of former housemates and friends cast in the game, and all their players are friendly and would love to plot backstory or future lines.
Also, the Padma and Lavender of the game are missing their PARVATI PATIL. We don't have the TRIO cast yet either, although Hermione is on hold.
LEE JORDAN and CORMAC MCLAGGEN would be appreciated for the variety they'll bring to the cast. As would former Slytherins in MARCUS FLINT, TERENCE HIGGS, MONTAGUE, VAISEY, DRACO MALFOY, BLAISE ZABINI and GREGORY GOYLE. We sorely lack former Death Eaters, who we feel would also bring a particularly interesting perspective into the game.

Hello! I play Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks at crackitup via crackaddict, a 5th Year crack game with an emphasis on quality writing and character development (but we have loads of plot, too!).
With school starting in just under a week, we really need more students! The beauty of the game is that the plot allows you to do pretty much anything you want with a character (within the boundaries of logic, of course), so you're not restricted by house or backstory at all.
As for students in particular, we'd really like to see Neville Longbottom (your mom's waiting for you!), the Weasley Twins, Hannah Abbot, and more Ravenclaws and Slytherins especially!
As for adults, we have Draco and Narcissa players who would love to have Lucius Malfoy in play! Personally, I'd really like to see Andromeda and Ted Tonks, as well as Druella Black (who is the one who raised Nymphadora). Guaranteed plot all around for those four characters. Bill Weasley is also sorely wanted by his younger brothers and sister, and we certainly wouldn't say no to Arthur and Molly, either!
We're a relatively new and very active game, with over fifteen players and twenty-something characters. Umbridge is ruling the school once more, and we all know what that means - except this time, Voldemort's already in control of the Ministry and has been for decades, implementing Muggleborn servitude laws that mean any Muggleborn in their Fifth Year is preparing to be handed over to a pureblooded family to serve until their dying breath. Sort of sucks for them, but the game is a ton of fun!
