[27 Feb 2008|10:33am] Hi! I'm Mick and I mod over at bavardage via bmods. I've got a good list of characters who need some friends, ex flames, future flames, or D. all of the above. Lavender Brown - lavendel Quirky, out going, loud, a little bipolar. I'd really like a Ron. Someone has shown interest in him, but if not, I'd still really love for someone to apply for him. She's really funny and loud, extremely girly, always playing with her hair and stuff. She's quite the gossip queen and does it with her two best mates Parvati and Padma. We've got a really great Padma, but we'd REALLY love a Parvati to complete that trio! With the plot of the game, they could all three work as gossipers in the paper, though Lavender is the one who'll be writing in the column with the other three girls. Amelia Montgomery - gomery A little oblivious to the world around her, goofy, fun in general. She's got a sister in fifth year which is the 'tom boy' of the two. She's looking for the best friend sort, maybe a flame, though that's not necessary. A lot of her friends so far seem younger than her, so someone her age is very much appreciated! She's muggle, so she talks about cars and television and movies that bug her or she really likes. And on top of that, I'm pretty sure she's in love with the Spice Girls, as well as The Weird Sisters. Cormac McLaggen - cormacdaddy Muscle head, bad Quidditch player, pushy with girls and overly confident. He's got the future flame, the best friend and one enemy in Adrian Pucey, but I'd love for him to have more than a bunch of girl friends! Basically anyone in Gryffindor would be great for him to have. Once he's denied a spot on the Quidditch team and all of his mates are too busy practicing, he'll need someone to talk to. Could be anyone! Daphne Greengrass - guiling Snobby, always annoyed with something, kind of quiet and kept to herself about her personal life, but talking about others' lives to piss them off seems to be a hobby. I wouldn't mind seeing a Millicent, Crabbe or Goyle! She's got three love interests, which really just took interest in her, so she's set there and she's got Draco, Pansy and Tracey as her best friends. I'd love for her to have some enemies. Perhaps Zacharias Smith? The two normally get along at an older age, but I'd love to see them clash personalities since they can be quite alike when it comes to snarky sarcastic rudeness. Marietta Edgecomb - boils She thinks she could be a Slytherin. Since she ratted out the DA in her sixth year, she's been kind of the badass type, though never forgetting the friends that didn't verbally disown her and still consider her someone important. She's kind of the Hogwarts door knob, so anyone her age has probably seen her in a whole new light. For her, I'd really like Cho around. They could still be teetering on their friendship, not sure if it's wise to stay friends or to just give up. I think Cho is the one person that can probably keep Marietta in check. And for the other players: Liam MacDougal, Morags older brother. Definitely something to look into. Ernie MacMillan, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Harry Potter, Seamus Finnigan, Demelza Robins, Hannah Abbott, Susan Bones, Terrence Higgs, Jack Sloper, Andrew Kirke, Su Li and many others! There's still lots of surnames open, as well. They could be anyone, but the majority of them according to the lexicon are blokes. We'd really love some new players. Everyone at the game is really friendly and always open to plotting with new people. We've formed a really great group of friends and would love to add to it. tng_hogwarts is looking for a few characters! [27 Feb 2008|05:02pm] This community has always been helpful in the past, so I figured I'd come looking for a few characters again! Who I am: I'm a co-mod of tng_hogwarts, a future-warts RPG where the children of your favorite Harry Potter characters currently attend Hogwarts! It takes place roughly six years after the epilogue ends. SLs we'd like to see filled in the game: First, I'd like to find some PROFESSORS! I just added a few open professor spots, and I'd love to see them filled! In particular, I'd like to find someone willing to play a young male professor (perhaps Archie "Arc" Vector, the new Arithmancy professor after his mother's retirement) who is willing to enter into some sort of relationship with my 7th year character, Ariel Windsor (she's of age, and I'd like to have a storyline for her involving getting together with a professor). Next, I really would love to find some more WEASLEYS! I play Rose, and we still don't have a Hugo. I'm sure there's someone out here that would love a chance to play the son of Ron and Hermione! The character of Bryce Belby has recently been swept, and we had a major SL planned for the near future that involved him, basically a long ring of cheating on significant others and the revenge that ensues. Contact me if you'd like more detail, but it's going to be really fun. Bryce is a 7th year Ravenclaw on the quidditch team, and he's basically a smug bastard who womanizes, but doesn't realize he fell for one of the girls he was using (my character, Jenny Jigger). However, along the way, he gets himself involved in this big scheme of cheating on people and seeking revenge on those they cheated with. Speaking of Jenny Jigger, I'd still love to find her brother, Johnny Jigger. I have him as a 7th year Slytherin right now, but we can change the house if it suits you. The only thing I ask is that he's overprotective of his sister, but beyond that, he can have whatever characteristics you'd like. Lastly, I want to find a gay male character to take part in the cheating and revenge plot mentioned earlier. I really don't care which house or year this character is, just as long as he's a gay male. I'll explain the plot to you if you're interested. [27 Feb 2008|05:57pm] Hi there, I'm Em and I am currently looking for a home for an 18-25 year old Pansy Parkinson. Pansy is a snotty social climber who is attempting to fit in with the aftermath of the war. She's playing 'good socialite' and throwing balls, running charity dinners, and attempting to be nice to the mudbloods who kicked the purists in the pants, all the while negotiating with (bribing) politicians to push the law in a direction more favorable to her ultimate goals. I don't have any pre-conceived demands on storylines and I am very flexible in terms of her relationship with other Slytherins and characters. What I am looking for in a game 1. Post-Warts - non-negotiable. I do not want a school game 2. Purists/Slytherins/DEs who act like purists/Slytherins/DEs 3. Involved mods Your game can be AU/time travel/canon - whatever, so long as the majority of the game is not in school. I am also happy to look at games that haven't opened yet. What I bring to the table 1. A love of Pansy and her snottery. I have no problem playing a character who is disliked 2. Social events - I love planning and throwing game-wide social events to bring characters together 3. A sense of humor 4. A great deal of flexibility 5 comments|post comment
