Looking for Harry for a Snarry or a Lupin for a Snupin Please, I beg you - actually read this appeal before contacting me. I am looking for something very special, very specific, and yes, I know my chances are slim to none, but I'm holding out for a good fit.
Having said that, if you like to write your character(s) against a decently canon Severus Snape, please read on!
I've been advertising/looking for a while now, and though I enjoy writing Severus and can usually pair him with just about anyone, I now have several het-pairing lines running. At this point, I'm only interested in finding a slow-building Snupin or Snarry story line.
I would feel the need for a "trial period" to make sure we both find a nice mesh of writing style and comfort level. I don't appreciate writing with someone who makes me 'drive' the story without active participation, nor do I play well with someone who wants to dictate every action. Serious-writers-only, please. Know your basic grammar, punctuation, paragraph breaks, etc.
I would prefer post-DH/ewe starting place with either of these lines. Nymphadora/Teddy can be dealt with however you wish if you are writing Lupin.
Interested persons must be able/willing/comfortable to write adult content if/when our characters develop to that point, but if you're looking to jump into a porn-without-plot scenario, I'm not the writer for you.
I need someone who has time to give replies at least 3-4 times per week, preferably daily. I don't sit at my computer 24/7 and I know there will always be real-life things that interfere with writing, but less than that and the story line grows 'stale' for me.
I also need someone who is fluent in the English language and is writing at a college-appropriate level. We all have occasional typos or swaps of homophones, but if I'm getting thrown out of the story to try to decipher meaning behind misused words or poorly constructed sentences, neither of us will have fun.
I'm looking for someone who LOVES to write and LOVES your character!! Someone who has a history of sticking with lines for the long-term, until they are finished! Ideally, someone with whom I might develop a long-term writing rapport, so that when one story line feels 'finished', we might decide to tackle something else together. Writing is my creative outlet, but I enjoy it most when I have an equally enthusiastic co-writer.
I like writing with someone who is able and willing to explore the emotional subtleties and undercurrents inherent in any attempted relationship between such disparate personalities.
University Students - nothing against the horrible stress and chaos you experience at the traditional-college-student time of life, but I have found that the highs and lows of your work-flow tends to mean that at some point you simply are too busy to write anymore and the lines peter out and die. Please SERIOUSLY consider whether you have time to write with me before answering my plea..
