I am looking for a Peggy to my Steve Rogers for a Captain America AU.
In this particular universe Steve's frozen body would have been found in Antarctica after a few weeks of intense search and brought back to New York. Howard worked and researched day and night until he figured out a way to defrost and revive Steve. After the successful revival, Steve would have been in coma for a while with Peggy guarding his bed whenever she wasn't working and waiting for Steve to wake up and make good on his promise to dance with her.
What I'm aiming for is a somewhat domestic line between the two of them, including marriage and children. Naturally, with Peggy being emancipated and a bit stubborn, she wouldn't just recline and take up the job as stay-at-home mum and housewife, which would probably spark some tension and fights, but there would be family and one-on-one time, too. And naturally, the dancing date has to happen. Details are up for discussion. Suggestions and plotting are welcome. |
