| Looking for Muses (the Greek kind) |

Hello! I'm Jess, from Forgotten Gods (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) forgotten_mods). We're a mythology-based game set in modern-day America and revolving around the fading gods of ancient cultures as well as the powerful New Gods of modern society and conveniences. We're a fairly large group, but we always love having new players join us.
I play Thalia, one of the six Greek Muses currently in the game, and I and others would love to get the remaining three on board to round out the Nine.
Things have not been all happiness and light for the sisters, of late. Years of living separate lives and going off in their own directions have caused them to grow apart - perhaps without even realising it - and after a series of vicious attacks on the Muses (from members of their own pantheon, no less), the Nine have been left broken, perhaps permanently so. It's been about half a year now since the bloody events which fractured the Muses, time enough to heal most physical wounds, if not the psychological ones - but there's still a lot of mending to be done.
The Muses we need are:
- Calliope, Muse of Epic Poetry, eldest and leader of the Nine. She was brutally tortured by Lyssa and Mania back in May.
- Euterpe, Muse of Lyric Poetry and Music. She was held captive by Styx for several weeks, but not physically injured.
- Polyhymnia, Muse of Sacred Poetry and Hymns. Was fortunate enough to be miss the entire ordeal; she's pretty much a blank slate.
I'm pretty well-versed in all that's been going on with the Muses and would be happy to fill you in, if need be. Feel free to drop a comment or shoot me an email (vegemite.toast [at] gmail.com) if you'd like more information!
And if none of the Muses take your fancy, we would also love to have Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Macha, Naricissus, Andromache, Tezcatlipoca, Horus and Enki on board, among others! |

Looking to bring my James Franco to a comm. Looking for a longtime lover/husband to come with. PB is open, so are jobs.
