[18 Jun 2009|12:43pm] It's a phrase we all heard many times throughout our childhood. Whether it was in the lap of a parent, from a teacher's lips, or read on our own, we quickly became familiar with the words and what would follow them. For most, fairy tales were a large and definitive part of their childhood. Some grew out of chasing the wild dreams and possibilities. Some were influenced by them, determined to find their prince or princess or happily ever after, no matter what the cost. Some shunned them and pushed them aside, deeming them stupid fantasies that could never exist. And then there were a few who felt strongly connected to certain stories or characters, whether they fully realized or not. Moreover, these individuals felt compelled, if not like it was their duty, to move to New York, however inconvenient it may be. Now, whether they realize their calling or not, these tales live amongst the more mundane of the population, trying to make sense of themselves. Are they crazy?
