hat if Salem Witches' Institute is the very same Magic School the Halliwells protect? Perhaps centuries ago the Ministry of Magic orchestrated a separation of Church and State that excluded the Elders and WhiteLighters from interfering with European witchcraft. But their reach didn't extend to the American colonies where magic was stifled and only encouraged by WhiteLighters. Now it's nearly 25 years after the battles against Voldemort and the Ultimate Power. Both Hogwarts and Salem Institute are open again. But when the peace of both sides is threatened, Potters and Halliwells will have to unite wizards and witches everywhere under a common cause.

The year is 2000. After seven tumultuous years, everything is calm. Harry Potter has defeated the Dark Lord, and things are finally as they were always meant to be.

Hypothetically. Nearly two years after the war, and witches and wizards everywhere are still having trouble putting their lives back together. Missing friends, dead family, strained relationships, and social inadequacies are causing mixed feelings everywhere. What should have been a perfect time is now, to put it best, awkward. There are so many people who don't quite know what to do with themselves now that the world isn't in grave peril.

Lucky for them, there are still a few people out there looking to change that.

Riddikulus is a game focused on character development and interaction. We offer writing prompts, a driven plot, a quill-bearing Rita, and fun players. We hope to see you soon!

Remus Lupin Academy of Magical Education is hiring for the 2009 - 2010 academic school year!

What is Remus Lupin Academy? It is a forward thinking school of learning for not only witches and wizards aged eleven through seventeen, but an institution that goes great lengths to accommodate anyone in need of an education - including magical creatures. Witches, wizards, centaurs, mermaids, and squibs are just a small sampling of the population of the school and that includes the faculty and staff. With a comprehensive education of both magical subjects as well as common courses and a grammar school for the younger sorts, Remus Lupin Academy has something for anyone.

The academy's mission statement is simple, but completely true: "In the tradition of its namesake, Remus Lupin Academy strives to educate all young people of magical families or with magical ability in a comprehensive fashion, preparing them to be intelligent and responsible citizens of an ever-changing world."

Open positions include grammar school professors for Grade A, D, and F; a professor for the magical classes of Muggle Studies; a professor to teach Muggle Foreign Languages; and other positions as the Counselor of the Grammar School as well as the office workers for both the Muggle and Secondary schools!
