Three years after Harry Potter defeated Voldemort. The war is over. Everyone is moving on, or at least trying to. The dead have been mourned and buried, but are all but forgotten. Lives, businesses and relationships must go on. Time won't stand still, even in Diagon Alley. The Wizarding World is almost completely rebuilt on top of the ashes of a time that cannot be forgotten, but everyone is still walking on eggshells. [25 Mar 2009|09:49pm] premise | rules | available | cast | apply | wanted characters Even in 2003, the aftermath of the second Wizarding War remains fresh on everyone's mind-- after years of skillful evasion, the Lestrange brothers have finally been captured, indicted on charges of crimes against humanity (along with other surviving Death Eaters, including the Carrow siblings, Fenrir Greyback, Thorfinn Rowle, and Yaxley). Kinglsey -- the acting Minister of Magic -- has worked diligently with the Department of Magical Law Enforcement to restore society to the way it was, trying to repeal the existing laws that had placed Voldemort's 'higher-ups' in power. The wizarding government isn't entirely structurally stable again, but the Ministry is doing what it can to give the country some semblance of hope. And speaking generally, people seem to be moving on with their lives. Or are they? Desolation Row is a post-Hogwarts game set in 2003, with a focus on character development and existing tensions in the aftermath of a war. post comment
