We are, and that is exactly why we have created Waddiwasi. Tidbits of information is all we have been given, tiny nuances to sustain us, but what about the fine details? What really happened during the First War when You-Know-Who was at his peak and the Wizarding World was barely staying above water? The individual stories of those during that time and the conflicts they had were never written, but they certainly existed. Students just out of Hogwarts viewed the world with endless possibilities; some acquired jobs, found a place to live, settled down and had a family, while others made their parents proud, took the Dark Mark, and joined an organisation which promised to restore the wizarding world to its former glory. For many centuries, Hogwarts has been hailed as the safest place in the word. This was true [unless your name happened to be Harry Potter] until a cold, windy January night in 2023 when screams were heard echoing across the walls. Faculty rushed to the empty corridor on the fourth floor where the sound was thought to be originating from. What they discovered was a pupil dead with strange markings on her arms. Her name was Dalia Fitzsimmons, a half blood fifth year and chaser for the Ravenclaw house. Panic rose throughout the school and students were sent home immediately due to safety. The grounds were searched but no evidence or no foul play was found. No one knows who or what caused Dalia’s death. Now a week has passed and the school has reluctantly reopened. Many were against the reopening, and several parents have decided not to permit their younger children to attend. Society is still up in arms about the murder. Rumors, gossip, and accusations fill the halls of Hogwarts. The questions on everyone’s lips are where were you on the night of Dalia’s death? What did the strange markings mean? Who was behind this? [04 Feb 2009|10:24pm] Three weeks after the death of Albus Dumbledore, the wizarding world is still reeling - but life must go on. Business must be done, school supplies must be bought, plans must be made for how best to combat the Dark Lord, and as usual, Diagon Alley is a hotspot for wizarding activity. Its central location proves a disaster, however, when one ordinary day, the wizards currently shopping suddenly discover that they cannot leave; physical entrances are locked, Apparition is disabled, the Floo Network is down, and an invisible dome prevents travel by broomstick. Naturally, this is blamed on the Death Eaters, and through their magical journals and the owls able to slip through the cracks, the trapped wizards soon learn that they are being held hostage for the Ministry's good behaviour. Now the wizards and witches in Diagon Alley must learn to live in close quarters with each other, find ways to protect themselves from possible Death Eater attacks, and most importantly, attempt to find a way out - before there's no more world left for them to go back to.
