It wasn't that Angel didn't love Cordelia. That fact was, only a handful of people in the world would only know the real feeling of being happy. You could say that's why Angel was broody quite a bit. Despite the lack of getting laid for safety measures, once he knew what that rarity felt like, it seemed like everything else couldn't match that mind blowing feeling.

If Angel was warm blooded his face would be flushed. It had been a while since a girl he truely cared about tried to tease him. Damsels in distress tried, but business was business. Plus, he was with Cordelia now. She knew how to make his blood boil.
Another weak smile surfaced. He looked down at her, brushing a few more stray locks out of her eyes. " I can. It's just.." he paused, " It's been a while." The vampire had a few women since Buffy, but none of them campared. He was afraid to take this step with Cordy. He didn't want to hurt her feelings if he didn't change.
"You should feel good. You're breath taking." He enjoyed seeing her taken back by his reactions. To be honest, with the entire weekend he had, he was even surprised by his own actions. " I started it," he shrugged.
