Cordy was very glad Angel didn't drink coffee. She'd witnessed him have a caffeine rush once or twice, and it nearly gave her nightmares. But that didn't stop her from shooting back, "I don't drink blood, but I still make you a cup every once in a while."
Ice Princess had been a tough choice. She'd spent half an hour at the store trying to pick out something that would get a sufficient amount of revenge on Angel but wouldn't torture her too much. Her original choice had been Crossroads, but she couldn't imagine herself watching that, even if she would spend half the time laughing at the look on Angel's face and making fun of Britney Spears trying to act.
She felt he should know how much worse his fate could have been. "You are such a drama queen. Just thank your lucky stars I decided to skip on Crossroads."
She was about to have mercy on him when they kissed, and by the time they were done, her thoughts were a bit scattered. "Movie? Oh, yeah. Movie." She went to the DVD player and put in the disc, hoping he wouldn't look in her purse. She'd also brought Hellboy, just in case he whined too much or, worse, gave her the puppy dog eyes. She would have caved if he'd pleaded with her a bit more.
The previews started to run and she looked toward the kitchen. She hadn't wanted to move before, but now that she was up, she might as well get a snack. "Is there popcorn?"
