Cordy's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. "You thought it would help...Angel! Dumping someone in ice cold water is how you 'help' the nerdy kid you don't like at camp wake up. You know how you help someone you like wake up? Coffee. A nice, steaming hot cup of coffee works much better and gets you way more points."
Okay, she had to admit that the kisses to her cheek and the way he was holding her were both doing wonders toward earning her forgiveness.
She smiled a little. Levitation wasn't what she'd been aiming for, but it was better than nothing. "I guess. I just wish I could figure out something we could actually use, you know? Sure, levitation would be cool to, I don't know, reach something on a high shelf, but I'd rather learn how to, um..." Cordy scanned her brain for something cool, and came up with something ridiculous instead "...shoot lasers out of my eyes."
Cordy wasn't too evil when it came to making Angel watch movies. Or at least, she hadn't been before the toilet seat incident. Now, for her own amusement and vengeance, she pulled a DVD out of her large purse. "Ice Princess!" she told him, pouring tons of extra enthusiasm into her voice. "The beautiful story of a young nerd who only wants to be accepted, win the cute guy, and look pretty in front of thousands of strangers. I am so excited!"
She followed him into the living room and sat down between his legs, dropping her purse at the other end of the couch. She loved being this close to him. She might have been a tiny bit hungry, but not nearly enough to move just yet. "No, I'm okay." She leaned back and kissed him again.
