Eliot nodded, his inevitable calling her "darlin'" was somewhat delayed as he made a slight face at the endearment of 'sweetcheeks'. There was only so much a guy could take without comment of some form.
Eliot was also eager to get outside. Unlike Buffy he normally spent a good deal of time out of doors. Whenever he stayed in one place long enough he'd have a garden. He ran outside whenever he could. His love of horses meant the "vacation time" he took when he needed to recover from injuries physical or otherwise were often spent on a ranch or in the country.
Staying indoors this long was not something he did willingly.
Eliot closed the door and led Buffy to the elevator, getting in. "Just promise me one thing." He remarked, dry humor in his voice, as he pressed the button for the garage level. "You won't insist that we steal somthin' together or play any thief drinking games. God knows I get enough of that with the team."
