Not even a second after she had put herself in a practically fetal position on the futon Eliot was already taking care of the mess that was Buffy. Her arms let go of her legs and she reached over to wrap her arms around his torso. Her knees slightly slanted to the side so they were kind of placed in his lap.
Her head moved to rest on his shoulder and when he kissed it she let out a relieved sigh. Eliot was some sort of blessing and an escape from the madness that had been going on. She still couldn't figure out what it was about him, or the connection, or any of it, but she didn't really care. She knew there was something strong between them and he knew how to deal with her in all the right ways. She was going to accept it for what it was and no longer question it.
What would I do without you?
Her eyes slightly shifted to look up at him, eyelashes playfully batting at him. Buffy was starting to come around.
