He nodded, watching her as she stumbled her way through trying to explain and giving up. A half smile to match hers formed on his face. Somehow he had a feeling just putting those jumbled thoughts and feelings into less jumbled thought speech probably helped at least a little.
Getting her to put feelings she didn't really understand like she might like into words he could sort of follow was really the best he could do to help her.
He watched her put her plate on the bureau and come back, curling around herself. He slid closer to her, their sides and legs touching, before he wrapped an arm around her shoulders, lightly pulling her close. He kissed the top of her head.
