It was weird, just hearing half the conversation, and it was just a joking conversation after all, it did bring a bit of a smile to Eliot's face as he climbed up the stairs and made his way into their bedroom.
It was... nice? Having them around. It felt like home, like being back with the team. Even if he had a feeling he'd have to restrain himself from strangling Hardison just as much as he had to for Parker and HArdison.
He glanced back over his shoulder.
Maybe more if that boy didn't develop the common sense to stay out of Eliot's kitchen. He'd at least trained the Leverage team pretty well in that regard.
At Buffy's comment Eliot shook his head. "you were rantin' against all man kind. Considerin' I'm a man an' you could kill me with your little finger I think it'd be best if you talked this out before you got to the murderin' stage."
Just because he cared didn't mean he'd admit to it when they'd been bantering like they had been.
He sat down on the futon and looked at Buffy, silently listening. He'd ask or provoke her responses only if he needed to.
