Eliot brought his plate over to sit next to Lindsey at the table. If there was just a tiny hint of unsteadyness hopefully Lindsey would be wise enough to ignore it.
"The better to punch out brothers who annoy me with." Eliot said in response to the upper body strength remark, almost lightly, the light but threatening tone somewhat coming from Parker.
Though in honesty he did exactly take offense from the comment about putting on a little weight. Fact of the matter was in the course of his transformation he'd barely been able to eat anything and lost more weight than was probably good to lose in a short period of time. But all things considered that was the least of his worries.
A little brotherly joking was a welcome break to the apocalypse nonsense.
Eliot started to eat, nodding along with Lindsey's information on what Buffy was up to, though wincing a little at the meeting with Angel. He didn't know exactly why but he had a feeling that couldn't end well.
Maybe Lindsey's feelings for Angel were bleeding over a little.
He finished the bite. "What do ya need to know 'bout the book?"
