Fifty-Four Diagon Alley OOC

Hi all! The Bad Robyn here with my number 4. I think this is officially the most characters I've had in one game in YEARS since I modded last, so you all must be special.

This is Gillian Goldstein. She is:

• Stats: 23, former Hufflepuff, years 87-94, single, Anthony's big sister, roomies with Fiona


• Passion: Art - she does big money ancestral portraits, sketched portraits for donation in Diagon Alley, caricatures also for donation, and comic books. The comic books are called Gag Me and are political and social commentary slice-of-life books she self-publishes mostly anonymously. More info in her bio if anyone follows it.


• Mythos: Some people may also know "Gag Me" because that was how she signed all of her anti-war, anti-DE, anti-Voldemort, pro-Potter, etc etc literature/graffiti/posters/etc that she made and distributed to encourage people to fight the Dark Side during the war. She was caught and send to Azkaban for it.


• Day Job: She works at "Leaf and Bean", a quirky coffee shop in Diagon Alley that also displays and sells her paintings. She's not great at the menial bits of her job (making coffee, serving customers), but she loves trying to encourage culture, and hosts a bunch of events at the coffee shop: art nights, slam poetry nights, open mic nights, improv nights, etc.


• Personality/Random: She's a bit weird/hippie/metaphorical/metaphysical. She loves her little brother lots. She is often covered in paint. She keeps a sketchbook of random faces she's seen about the place, so she might have your character in her purse. She sort of was in a muggle porno once, but it was actually a softcore art film to put herself through art school.

I'm terrible at intros. But she needs friends, exes (she's straight), regulars at the coffee shop, maybe older families who've sat for portraits with her, enemies (maybe she graffitied your Manor, purebloods?), uhhh... whatever! All the things.

I know there are a million intros for new chars right now. I will TRY to be patient, but it is not my strong suit. XDDDD

Hey hey hey! This is Ashton with Maxine O'Flaherty, but please call her Max.

Max is an Event Coordinator with the Department of Commerce and Society, so she's had a part in planning all the Ministry run events, like the Equinox Festival and the Bachelor Auction.

In her spare time, she plans weddings! She wants to get it off the ground as an actual business some day, but hasn't found the time. Instead she just gets referred by word of mouth. Currently, she's elbow deep in planning Sally-Anne and Ernie's wedding AND IT'S GONNA BE AMAZING Y'ALL.

She's a very sweet Hufflepuff who graduated in 96. She was a Beater on the house team for a while. It wasn't her passion, but she was decent at it and she didn't want to let anyone down.

She's got an older brother and a younger sister that I will be putting wanted ads up for at some point today. Other than that, she's a pretty girly girl who just loves to see people happy.

Oddly enough, her want to see people happy has led to a string of bad luck in the romance department. See, she's a bit of a fixer, and if she sees someone who doesn't appear happy or fulfilled, she's going to try and get them that way, whether they like it or not. But she's ever the optimist and knows she'll end up happy herself someday.

In the meantime, she needs people. Friends, people who don't like her, dates, exes, you name it, she needs it.

Hello all! I'm Robyn, bringing in Parvati Patil.

A bit of character info in which I try not to ramble too much:

• Parvati is 20, bisexual (guess she prompted the cap on LGBT, sorry folks!), single, and lives at #504 54 Diagon Alley (only since November).


• She is friendly-ish with her neighbours, but has some anxiety issues that can sometimes result in her seeming a bit odd. She also eats dinner at the pub a lot, and gets a lot more outgoing after a few drinks, so neighbours might know her that way too.


• She is Flynn's Divination Apprentice and shop girl at Oracle. This is a bit recent, only started in early November. She puts on a bit of a friendlier face than she usually feels while she's at work, and doing well is really important to her so she tries hard.


• She was severely injured in the Battle of Hogwarts by a dark hex that left her with chronic pain in her left leg/hip, scarring all over her left thigh and hip and lower abdomen, and infertility. She's bitter about this, but tries to hide it. She spent a long time recovering at home and avoiding people while she healed.


• Parvati is not quite as bright and bubbly as people might remember from pre-BOH. She's a bit guarded as a result of her aforementioned anxiety, and had a sort-of suicide attempt while recovering. She's working on herself and trying to get back to being more social/normal.

Parvati would love to reconnect with old friends/acquaintances, make new friends, run into old foes, maybe ex or two from Hogwarts days, etc etc. I love non-romantic and dramatic/angsty plots, but am also interested in seeing how a romance plot might develop for her with all of her baggage.

I will post in the wanteds when I get home from work tonight, but just throwing it out there that I would LOVE to see Padma in play. Twins for the win!

I'm Katie Kay, and I am horrid at introductions. They give me mild anxiety because I never know what to say. But now that I've got two in the game, I figure I ought to at least say hello! So without further ado:

Katie Bell is a former Gryffindor, former Holyhead Harpies reserve player. She's currently one of the bartenders at the Phoenix. Together with Alicia and Angelina, they're the real Three Musketeers. Harry's Trio, be damned! Shameless plug: someone play Angelina! Katie is the impressionable, insecure one of the three. She's a hot mess, really. Totally gay, but totally not out. Everyone pretty much knows though, especially if you've been around her when she's a few drinks in. She misses Quidditch, and she's a die-hard fan of the sport. But she's also a die-hard Muggleborn, so footie is just as big to her. (She's an Arsenal fan, if you must know.) Anyway, she likes to think she has a good sense of humour about things. She's quite impulsive, bouncy, friendly.


Oliver Wood is... another former Gryffindor! I don't normally play two from the same former House, but I couldn't help it. Theo James just reminds me so much of a grown-up Oliver. He's the current Keeper for Puddlemere United. Recruited right out of Hogwarts, he was originally reserves. As a bloke, he can be a bit of a stiff sometimes. He doesn't mean to be, but he's a bit introverted about things. He has developed a quiet sort of confidence, however, so he's not completely inept socially. He's a pretty recognisable face, a local sports celebrity, and a member of the Tenants' Board. Most recently, he was also bitten by a wolf! Because hello, the plot once the Quidditch season begins. He is quite stressed about it, especially considering the lingering prejudice about wolves. It's very hush-hush secret right now, but that'll be sure to change eventually. In the meantime, it at least makes him a bit more... unpredictable sometimes. Suddenly, he's not such a total goodie two-shoes.

I'm easy enough to find! I work crazy four day stretches (five this week because of inventory), 12-16 hour work days. But if I'm on AIM at katie rps, you can always ping me. The only reason I won't answer is if I've somehow fallen asleep! You can also dropbox me on either character's profiles, all comments screened.

Draco has been traveling the world for the last few years, and has recently moved to 54. He's been the bartender at the Pheonix for about a week now, and he makes the best drinks you have ever had in your entire life. No, seriously, his drinks are practically a religious experience. It's the only reason he got the job at all, considering his family is pretty disgraced and his customer service can be shitty.

He wants to make up for the terrible things he did during the war, but he doesn't totally know how. He's not nearly as biggoted as he used to be, and makes an honest effort not to judge people before he gets to know them. He's a lot quieter than he used to be, and keeps to himself when he can. But he can still be a snarky asshole when he wants.

I am really excited to explore this slightly kinder, kind of gentler Draco with you all!

Hey everyone, figured I'd put an intro up in case there's anyone that doesn't know me. My name is Jen and I've been rping for probably forever and a day.

Today I'm bringing you the ever lovely and polite Astoria Greengrass. She's a bit shy and quiet, but every much a more traditional sort of woman. She's a bit wary of being on her own for the first time ever, but she has her sister around to help. She also has a tremor and some medical issues thanks to the battle at Hogwarts. She goes to great efforts to hide that though.

Alright. I am Ashton, the other half of your mod team. I may or may not be known as the Birthday Police because I'm a liiiiiiittle nitpicky when it comes to having ages/birthdays/school years accurate. BUT I DO IT OUT OF LOVE. I'm more on the admin side of things here, so if there's ever an issue as far as information on pages or adds or whatever, I'm your girl.

A little bit about me. I'm 27, I live in Florida (but so far up north I'm basically in Georgia), and I have 3 cats. You will be hearing about them if you're in chat. And seeing pictures of them. Because they are my babies and I'm slightly obsessed with them, even the crazy one. I also have a serious TV addiction, and I'm always looking for people to text/aim during my shows with reactions, so if we watch the same shows, BEWARE.

But now it's time to introduce my peeps. For now I just have two.

This journal is that of Kirley Duke! He's the lead guitarist for the Weird Sisters and he takes his role as rock star VERY SERIOUSLY. Meaning he parties all the time and casual sex is his jam. He's bi, so if you're pretty, he doesn't care what's in his pants. He shares a luxury suite with Myron, and there's a jacuzzi in his bedroom sooooooo stop on by! However be warned, he will kick out basically anyone if Alicia comes by wanting some naked cuddle time. She is his favorite sex friend.

I also have Adeline Taylor (tinytrinket). Adeline is the pub manager, so she knows a lot of people. She's a sweetheart, and secretly in love love love with her best Flynn, and has been since she was a kid. They're practically an old married couple at this point, just without the sex.... for now, mwahahaha.

Anyway, both of my people are open for lots of plot. Adeline loves friends, and Kirley loves being famous. So come at me!

Hello everyone! I'm Anick and I'm bringing 3 people in here.

Mandy Brocklehurst- Former Ravenclaw in Harry's Year. Because of an agreement with her father, she didn't join the DA until 7th Year and even if part of her regrets not having joined sooner, she tells herself it's for the best considering that her long time boyfriend back at school turned out to be a DE sympathizer who was trying to spy on the DA using Mandy. This whole thing left a very bitter taste in her mouth and she hasn't been letting anyone close romantically since. She has devoted herself completely to her Hit Witch training and being around for her friends.

Matthew Carter- Former Hufflepuff in Charlie Weasley/Hestia Jones/Tonks year. Owner of the bakery Sweet Sensations (yes, he's slightly dirty minded). Very sweet bloke with still a few issues remaining from his time in Azkaban. He was caught by Snatchers on his way to work in Hogsmeade because he 'failed to present himself to his trial' which wasn't due for an other week. He was imprisonned for 'magic theft' then released after the Battle of Hogwarts. He tried going back to Madam Puddifoot's but a new life was in order for him to be able to move on so he went to baking school and opened his own bakery once Knockturn was cleaned up.


Finley MacAllister- Former Slytherin 86-93. He was prefect his last 3 years and he really doesn't follow the Slytherin archetype at all. Chaser for the Ballycastle Bats, Fin is rather.. well bubbly isn't the word but he's lively and usually joking around. Most of his family are wizards from every House, so he's very open to any of them. He's been in a relationship once, at school, but hasn't since. He's a very big flirt.
