Ted was happy. In fact, he was more than happy. He didn't know the word for that, but whatever it was, that's what he was right now. The tree was lovely and he couldn't lie that he was excited about the pancakes (because they were delicious), but the best part was that Andromeda was sharing with him.

Lightly tapping her hand with his finger, he let out a small laugh before stealing the syrup from her. With anyone else, he would never have thought to do such a thing, but it was different here. Andromeda was different from other people. She would think it was funny and so he knew it was okay.

"I'm glad," he replied, amusing himself by stabbing a bit of sausage with his fork and eating it. He'd been focusing on trying to stab another piece when Andromeda spoke again. "Forever?" It was another moment before he smiled widely. "Well, one day I figure we can get something bigger than this flat." He looked down at his food nervously for a moment. "I mean...if you were already planning on staying, we might as well figure on a house or something with a yard and everything."
