Oh, she was definitely taking them to school. Andromeda hadn't thought that far ahead, but she had been trying to shed some of her old identity since coming here, wearing the clothes that she so rarely got to wear, the ones she liked for herself. When she returned to school, she was going to continue doing that. She was going to wear her bunny slippers from Ted around Slytherin House and ignore everyone who looked at her strangely. With any luck, they'd all treat her as if she didn't exist.
That wouldn't matter, because when she was here, she existed more than she ever had anywhere else. She was comfortable and happy and she made Ted happier than she'd ever managed to make anyone in her family for a very long time. That was really the best Christmas present ever.
"We could go and find a place where there's lots of snow," she said, standing up to give walking around in her bunny slippers a try. Red and green stripes, antlers, and bunny slippers - truly, this was the oddest outfit she'd ever worn, but it was appropriate. "You'd better be careful about starting a snowball fight, though. I have wicked aim." She skipped over to him and planted a kiss on his nose. "Right there. That's where my first snowball will hit."
