Project Runway, Episode 409!

I absolutely LOVED this episode :)

Ricky cried a lot, but that's nothing new. At least this time they were happy tears. He deserved to win this one. Ricky hadn't wowed me until now and I was sort of wondering why he was still there, but at least I like him.

Victorya on the other hand... *ugh* I've disliked her since the beginning and that ugly coat earned her the boot. Thank goodness. Finally.

And my favorite part of the episode? Actually, my favorite part was Ricky winning... but my second favorite part? Definitely the beginning when Christian was being a whiny bitch and the rest of the designers were laughing at him. LOL! I can't help it. I ♥ Christian.

ION, in preparation for watching tonight's episode I read all of the episode recaps on afterelton.com. If you haven't read them yet I highly recommend you do so when you get a chance. Entertaining. Snarky. And you might learn something too! I had a wikipedia window open the entire time I was reading so I could look up all the fashion and cultural references I wasn't getting... Flock of Seagulls? "David Bromstadian levels of niceness"? Soutache? Go read them.

my sister and i were catching up tonight, i watched the past 4 episodes this evening (and ghost hunters, can we say bum?) but i digress, we were watching and dying over how much ricky cries good lord. but his piece was fantastic

but i was very pleased with the end outcome. i have not liked victoria from the beginning either.

i was trying to explain to my sister why i too &heart; christian, but i failed...it's inexplicable.

i did not understand the love over sweet p's dress, it was alright, but i didn't think it was that great. but the jeans christian made, those were fabulous (not for me mind you, but for a teenie tiny little model, Fabulous!)

I agree with every single word of this - the crying, Victorya, ♥ing Christian, sweet p's meh dress. We are sharing a brain when it comes to PR!

I just watched it, and have to write my recap... but I enjoyed this a lot. I think all the iffy designers are gone, and even the worst weren't bad.

And I won't miss Victorya.

I agree. I will not miss Victorya. I MUST get some rl work done...more later, but did anyone else love watching Tim in the van with everyone? Why did that crack me up?

THIS IS SO RANDOM

okay...I was looking for Tim Gunn icons 'cause ~~I'm procrastinating~~ I need more, and I found this one and it's kind of silly, but it made me think of you and I laughed OUT LOUD...the notes say it's from the interview Tim Gunn did on Conan...I'd love to see a vid or transcript to get the analogy...?

Found this on GOTHAMIST....from 2006...ahhh...the early years...

Did anyone see Tim Gunn on Late Night with Conan O'Brien last night? If anyone puts the clip on YouTube, let us know, but he was super charming and funny and a good foil for a very manic Conan. Tim admitted it was hard that Project Runway lost at the Emmys last year, and then he said, "Maybe we're like cilantro. You don't know what it is at first, but then you want it again and again." (Or something like that - the heat is making our head fuzzy.) Project Runway - the cilantro of reality television! Except we love PR much more than cilantro.

I definitely love PR much more than cilantro....not I'm trying to start that debate! ha! ha!

I was glad Victorya got the boot as well. I've been waiting for that. I also wanted Ricky gone but he did to deserve to win this one. I just want to slap him and say NO MORE CRYING, LOL!

Christian, Christian, Christian. Oh how he needs to mature. LOL at Chris "Someone needs to give him a bottle and put him to bed (or a nap, I can't remember :(). His outfit rocked though and I thought he might win. As much as he annoys me (I like with two twelve year old girls. I get whiny at home, don't need it on PR) I would like to see him go to Fashion Week.

I liked Sweet P's dress. I like her yet I can't really explain why. My daughter doesn't so we agree to disagree over her :)

I love Chris. He's so laid back and funny.

I'd like to see Rami, Jillian, Christian and Chris all go to Fashion Week. (I miss Kevin. I was sad to see him go :()

I would DEFINITELY like to see Christian go to fashion week. I mean if he can create these amazing designs in less than 48 hours imagine what he could do with months to create an entire line! *eeeeee!!*

That would be amazing! Talk about 4 different lines. I'd be a little afraid to see Chris's line though...
