Joining the intro club! Hi, it's Alison and currently I have:
Jade Dorny jadedjade - Ravenclaw, class of 2000.
Jade used to be a nice, quiet, stereotypically Ravenclaw girl, but then she was introduced to the world of torture by the Carrows and has never really been the same again. She was horrified to find she enjoyed it and the horror was overshadowed by the enjoyment. Now nobody likes her, hardly, because she was awful during that year in the IS. She's still quiet, but she's more cynical and bitter now. She doesn't regret a thing, though. She works as a book-keeper for Quentin Baddock and is training to be an accountant in her spare time. She lives with Miles Bletchley as a flatmate. She's bi and would be easy to seduce, should anyone have a mind to press past the bitter coating. She's gone back to her original PB, Charley Webb, as I made some older icons for her - so that's why she looks different!
Lucy Yaxley notaspure - Hufflepuff, class of 1999.
Lucy is the pureblooded daughter of the DE Yaxley. She's basically a sweetheart but with a Slytherin streak a mile wide. She was raised to be very naive and to trust her parents utterly. Thus she was bloodist but not nasty about it - she knew she was going to marry a pureblood but saw no reason to be mean to people who weren't pureblooded. When Voldemort took over, though, she bought the muggle-born stealing magic line, albeit she struggled with it when it came to people she knew. She was in the IS and Amycus and Alecto are actually her cousins. Voldemort gone and her dad dead, she set to reinventing herself - she has actually changed her mind about bloodism, because she feels that if purebloods were so much more superior, surely they wouldn't have let themselves be beaten? Some people still don't trust her but she is very good at working her image. She donated most of her dad's money to muggle-friendly charities after he died and now works as a fundraiser. Her current pet project is a new venture which employs Kenneth Towler. It basically provides a camp for muggle-borns about to start Hogwarts so that they can learn a little about magic and the school before they get there and also make friends with other muggle-borns so they know someone when they get there. I've played her speciality as persuading rich people to part with vast amounts of money, but this time I'm also going to get her doing fundraising events because it will give her more to do in game. Sean Ackerley and Jamie Huggins are both her exes but she's currently single and pretending she loves it because her career is much more important.
Romilda Vane clowningaround - Gryffindor, class of 2000.
Ah, Romilda. Romilda is adopted, with a lovely single parent gay dad, but she was with her biological mother for long enough to be a bit screwed up. She's giggly, ridiculous, mischievous, bold, brash, cocky, enjoys shocking people, is a massive attention seeker, and was really pretty irritating at school a lot of the time. She had an obsession with celebrities and fancied herself in love with Harry Potter. She fought in the Battle of Hogwarts and got thrown across the room by a giant, giving her permanent brain damage. That sobered her up quite a bit. Most of her symptoms are under control these days, but the ones that still linger on are: she's quite clumsy, her speech slurs when she's tired, making her sound drunk, and she has a poor concentration span. On the plus side, being unable to control so many things about herself immediately after the accident (fine and gross motor movements, moods, bladder...) has made her more determined and hence better at controlling herself now in other ways, like not feeding people love potion on a whim. Romilda is just finishing up her training as a clown and works part time as a children''s entertainer at parties. Her bffs are Vic Frobisher, Jamie Huggins, and Peter Jones, but she still lives with her dad.
Evan Vaisey notascreepy - Slytherin, class of 2000.
Evan is another one who's grown up a lot since Hogwarts. He was a massive lech and creeper and will have come onto all of your female characters at some point, in a really invasive, pervy way that made your skin crawl. Just saying. During the Carrow regime he was in the IS and used it as an excuse to isolate and intimidate girls. Yep, he's a catch alright. He was also massively homophobic and basically stopped talking to one of his closest friends (Quentin Baddock) after he found out he's gay. He now works on the bar of a strip club which ironically has made him more of a romantic. He's had enough of looking at boobs and wants a girlfriend he can just hold hands and spend time with. He's also friends with someone bi (Sean Ackerley) who works there, albeit he's still not exactly a massive gay ally or anything. Don't even ask about Jamie Huggins.
Alexander Derrick derailed - Slytherin, class of 1999.
Alex is an asshole and a rebel. He enjoys winding people up and being as awful as possible. He was a bastard during the IS time too and hates muggles, partly due to his ex-girlfriend, a muggle who aborted their baby without even telling him she was pregnant until afterwards. He works as a drug dealer but will also do various shady dealings on the side. He's actually super-sensitive, or he was, and it's made him into this person who hurts other people before they hurt him. He's secretly in love with Vic Frobisher, who he used to sleep with before he ran away in a panic when she said she loved him. Um. Why do I have so many loathsome people?? He shares banter with more people than he's friends with. You're welcome to hate him. He's a bad boy and annoyingly good in bed.
Dean Thomas banksywannabe - Gryffindor, class of 1998.
Dean, on the other hand, is all kinds of lovely and you must love him. Don't argue. He's funny, sensitive, laidback, and he likes to be friends with everyone even if they hate each other (Slytherins excepted). He's currently dating Demelza Robins and working as a waiter part time. He sketches a lot, mainly cartoons and the like, and has an artistic love affair with the graffiti artist Banksy. He is very gentlemanly towards women but still a bit of a lad's lad.
Woo! There ya go! Coming soon I also have Barney Dunstan, Luke Hammons, Melissa Pennyfeather, and Valentina Moretti, but I think that's enough for today!
