MAX IS HERE.
I'm here! I'm alive! So, I have five (five... Jesus) characters this time around.

First of all, this is Lisa Turpin. She's sort of like Kim Kardashian in that she's famous for being famous, and her first big break was a sex tape (if any of you have an idea of what to call the wizard equivalent of this, let me know). She's a socialite and a sex kitten, but her one true love is Astronomy. She'd like to eventually step out of the spot-light and use her star knowledge to do something meaningful, but the money is too good to quit just yet when she can finally give her mum the life she deserves. She also has some awkward family ties to the Vaisey family. Info here.

I also have Victoria Frobisher-Culpepper flammae who is more emotionally damaged than she'd like to admit. Her history is long, complicated, and full of death so I won't go into in detail here. Until recently she was working as a field scientist, but ended up out of a job due to illness. She know makes a ridiculous amount of money at her mother's flower business. Vic is still very attracted to Alex Derrick, and takes out her frustration on Evan Vaisey (which Romilda must never ever know). Info here.

Quentin Baddock kisslikejudas is a crook if ever there was one. He's a crooked business man who makes all his money selling drugs and using his seeing to guess the stock numbers. Due to the nature of his business (and the nature of his business partners) it behooves Quentin to be straight and lecherous. Many of his important meetings are held at The Golden Snatch, the work place of Evan, Sean, and Jasmine. He works closely with Bernice and Alex. Info here.

Demelza Robins zoomzoomswish is totally. badass. She's aproximately the size and temperament of a miniature poodle, and can kick some serious arse on the quidditch field. She's a beater for the Falcons, and has the bruises to prove it. She's close friends with Miles, Leah, and Romilda. She's also looking forward to her first date with Dean, which will be happening shortly. Info here.

Sean Ackerly whatwouldseando has always been a little bit of a loser. He's really friendly and funny, but he doesn't have a lot going for him otherwise. He makes most of his money as a bartender at the Golden Snatch, but has also been known to strip on ladies night. He also flits around Hogwarts as a toady for all the professors. Eventually, he'd like to be a professor himself. Sean is BroFFs with Dean, as well as friends with Wayne and Evan. He's still completely in love with Lucy, but that's not exactly getting him anywhere. Info here.

Michael is appropriately (inappropriately) amused with this Lisa. Because obviously sex is awesome and so is astronomy. Of course he is not famous for being famous...damn.

As for Victoria, Michael has a special place in his heart for people with complicated families...because his family? Totally complicated and still something he isn't fully okay with.

He probably doesn't have much to do with Quentin to start.

In Purgatory where I played Michael, for most of the school year he and Demelza were friends and had been friends since he dated Ginny. They bonded more because she was quidditch captain then and his little sister was a second year and starting seeker. For Michael, it was sort of an "okay we're friends, but when do the benefits kick in?" In that he mostly he uses sexual situations as a means to deal with tense situations and that sums up his 7th year pretty well. I would love for some sort of friendship to be worked out between this Demelza and Michael if you're interested.

And he probably doesn't interact with Sean too much at the moment.

Oh! Michael is her same year and house. Friends? This would also mean that he knew her back when she was shy and bookish. And he can definitely act on his amusement and poke fun at her. What do you think?

Vic says they should build a clubhouse, but she might set it on fire.

Quentin is indifferent to anyone who isn't either a sexy man who he might have a chance with, or someone who can help him make money.

Demz would totally be Michael's friend, but it should be noted that she only last year informed the world that she is not, in fact, a lesbian. I should really put that in her bio. But yeah, she was sexually awkward, and let most everyone believe she was gay so she wouldn't have to address her feelings towards boys. So, I don't know if he would still have been expecting benefits. :P But yeah, friends would be great.

Yes, Michael was in the same year/house although he very much had his this my Terry and this my Anthony, they come first and before all else. But yes, he would have known her from school and also due to the fact they might have been in the minority of Ravenclaw students who presumably continued to the NEWT level in astronomy. Which of course means now she'll be getting lots of jokes about how that corrupted her...and probably would have corrupted him, if he wasn't already sexual active before his advanced astronomy lessons. (Cliche astronomy tower make outs for the win!)

Well, Michael is a sexy man. Or at least he says so...this may or may not actually be true.

That part make change the expectations of benefits. But it still could have been some awkward sexual situations...at least in that he could have been attracted her to and been like urgh, why does she not like boys? So there very well still could be that joking bit of wanting benefits...although certainly never expressed outloud. That would be rude and he was far more concerned with the extra set of eyes to keep his loud mouth sister out of trouble that year.

	Perhaps they had a ~scandalous~ makeout session at some point? Quentin says that unless Michael is going to drop his pants or buy some drugs, he can move along. Demelza says "LOL, too late, I'm dating Dean Thomas." But yeah, awkward sexual tension would be great, especially since it'll add depth to Dean and Demz' relationship. 	Michael doesn't understand. How can a make out session be scandalous? It's generally just awesome...unless you're doing it wrong. And he's never doing it wrong. Lisa
Morag- They were dormmates and when I last played Morag Lisa had been a member of the IS and it had strained their friendship but I'd always imagined she got along well with the girls in her dorm before the war started. Mo's parents were killed by the Death Eaters during the war and she was a rather vocal voice against the Carrows. Now she's a mediwitch and married to Anthony. She would try to keep in touch with her old classmates but it's up to you how close they would be.

Katie-Probably wouldn't be aware of Lisa aside from what she might have randomly heard on WWN or in reading magazines/newspapers.

Mei-Same house but a couple of years younger. When they were in school together Mei was quite the tomboy and mostly dressed in boys clothes when she could get by with it. I don't know how much interaction they had in the past but I don't think that Mei would dislike her if she got to know her now. At first the sex tape might be in the back of her mind but I don't think she would be judgemental. She knows what it's like to have people expect they know you just because of one surface thing.

Spencer-Probably only knows her as a news item that comes up every once and a while on his radio show.

Victoria
Morag-If Victoria spent any time at St. Mungos Mo might have been one of the mediwitches on her floor since she's still doing rotations to decide where she's going work permanently.

Katie-She a year ahead of Victoria and she spent most of her last year trying to make up for having joined the IS out of fear for what her aunts might do to her otherwise. She's been dating Seamus since her sixth year (though the first year it was super secret and only Cal and possible Dean if Seamus told him) knew. Katie still is trying to get along with everyone to make up for her sixth year.

Mei-They were in the same year and probably had classes together. Mei is friendly but not crazily outgoing. If Victoria has any interest in football Mei probably tried to talk her into pickup games which she planned with the help of Dean and Spencer's twin sister.

Spencer-Also in Victoria's year. Spencer was famous for two things while he was at Hogwarts the first was nearly starting a riot during a Quidditch match his fifth year while announcing. He still claims that it was perfectly acceptable to let loose that string of obscenities when someone tried to hurt his twin sister (who was the Hufflepuff Beater). The second was when he was accidentally outed based on materials found in his trunk during a raid on the Hufflepuff dorms. He probably got along pretty well with Victoria if they knew each other.

Morag-Probably doesn't know him. And he would probably make her uneasy if she did.

Katie- Works as a secretary for the DMLE so if he's ever caught his name would show up on the paperwork she processes. She was a member of the IS during her sixth year and he might remember her as the one who kept trying to be the voice of reason. She distanced herself from most of the former IS members, aside from Lucy and a few others who had tried to keep things from escalating.

Mei-Probably doesn't really know much about him.

Spencer-I don't think that he and Spencer were ever in similar social circles.

Demelza
Morag- Probably doesn't know Demelza well though their paths might cross in Quidditch circles. Mo's husband plays for the Tornados. She'd be friendly regardless.

Katie- Another version of Demelza hated Katie for having been in the IS but Katie worked hard to try to make things right with everyone and probably put in an effort to be friendly her last year at Hogwarts. If things become serious between Demelza and Dean then they're going to probably have more interaction since Katie is with Seamus and has become good friends with Dean over the years.

Mei- I'm guessing that she and Demelza are at least friendly because Leah is Mei's closest friend and Mei and Romilda have always gotten along.

Spencer- Pretty much the same as Mei. He's close to both Romilda and Leah so it's more than likely that they're in the same general social circle. Spencer loves Quidditch and his sister is an ace player but he sucks at it. I mean, REALLY sucks. Even though he does music on his show if Demelza has any interest in Muggle music he might ask her to come on as a guest DJ some day.

Sean
Morag- Probably hasn't had a lot of interaction with him.

Katie-Would know him since they were the same year/house and I imagine they'd get along pretty well.

Mei- Probably doesn't know him well at this point. But I can't imagine her not liking him.

Spencer-I think that they would get along fairly well. Spencer was a year behind Sean but they were the same house so he probably saw Spencer fairly frequently.

Quentin would regard Katie with the same cold familiarity her reserves for all former IS members. As a general rule, he always has someone to take the fall for him if he's caught... though that could be an interesting plot for later on.

I think Mei and Demz could definitely be close! Demz likes Mo (but thinks that the Tornados are CHEATERS).

I like the idea of friendships for Sean with Kaitie and Spencer. Sean is bi and really needs some queer friends to hang out with. He (very secretly) had hopes that Leah could eventually be his lesbian partner in crime, but then she had to be all straight. So... friends?

They both definitely prove that tiny doesn't mean weak. Mo says she knows that Anthony doesn't cheat but generally knows next to nothing about Quidditch. So definitely friends.

Yes definitely with Sean. Spencer needs queer friends too. And he definitely understands with Leah, he sees Leah as his herterosexual life mate. Especially after things fell apart with Yue (after he RUINED things with Yue). I'll add Sean to the Private message Spencer just sent Romilda and Leah.

Well.... photos move, right? So it could just be a verrrrry involved photo. Anyway, Dean and Wayne were in her year so will know her from classes. Wayne probably used to like her and would have been in Astronomy NEWT classes with her... but now he is much colder because he does Not Approve of the whole sex tape business. Dean probably didn't know her so well, but you know what he is like, he is pretty friendly.

Lucy doesn't really know her, but is kind of envious in a not-wanting-to-admit-it-to-herself way. Mainly she wants to be a good person but, well, there is also a big part of her that just wants love, attention, and adoration at any cost. Alex knows her from the sex tape and kind of remembers her from school. He'll pretend to hold her in contempt and then wank to pictures of her. Yay!

Romilda in the olden days would have been allllll over her, just because she's famous. She's a bit better now, although she may still get a bit starstruck and slip into fangirl mode occasionally. Bern averts her eyes and pretends not to be staring.

Aaaaaand Evan. Is highly disturbed that she is his cousin and hot, especially considering his history with cousins :-S I think his feelings on her are quite mixed. I can't even begin to unpick them!

I'll start with Alex, because he is being loudest. He misses her. He is distributing weed for Jamie and Peter so maybe they should bump into each other again that way?

Then Romilllllda loves her, obviously, and is sort of glad she is back, although she tries not to be, because that is selfish and she is trying not to be selfish these days.

Evan likes her and is glad that she is taking her frustrations out on him. He would still prefer a girlfriend, but a bit of casual sex with a hot chick is definitely not to be sneezed at.

Dean is friendly with her... Dean seems to be friendly with almost everyone.

Lucy hopes that Vic is done punishing her for hurting Jamie, not that she knew she was being punished, but still.

Bern... does not really know her that well, although they had classes and everything together. What is with that?

Wayne also doesn't really know her, but he will be interested to know she is a field scientist and will be friendly. He is generally pretty friendly, when he is not being judgmental.

Okay, let's see...

Lisa
Miles will take any opportunity to mock her for the "sex tape" (wizarding photo?) scandal.
Leah will know her from Ravenclaw, but not be very close. She'll judge her both from the aforementioned scandal and her connection with Evan.
Jasmine says oh my, but she feels that, given her job, she's not one to judge.
Jamie is too nice to make any comments.
Luna waves at Lisa and, obviously, doesn't care one lick about the scandal.
And Declan doesn't really know Lisa that well.

Vic
Miles says she looks fiiiiine - but not out loud. Overall, he doesn't really know who she is.
Leah will be shocked if she ever finds out about the Evan thing. She thought Vic had more taste than that.
Jasmine doesn't know her so well.
Jamie loves her. Things will get a bit awkward once Vic learns Alex is kind of working for Jamie and Peter.
As for Luna, maybe Vic could have accompanied her (and Michael) in one of her naturalist expeditions?
And Declan is still none the wiser about Vic being the girl who shagged Alex in Su's cottage, so I'm guessing they're still friends.

Quentin
Miles is a housemate, but since they're from different years I'm not sure if they'll be that friendly.
Leah narrows her eyes.
Jasmine knows Quentin from the Golden Snatch, but she finds him a bit creepy and intimidating. She'll be polite if he talks to her outside of the club, but will avoid him for the most part as she avoids most of the club's regulars.
Jamie and Quentin didn't interact much in Absolution apart from greeting each other in Hebrew during Jewish holidays, and I doubt that's going to change anytime soon. We'll have to see how things develop, though.
Luna will be friendly as always, and impervious to any kind of jackassedry he might throw her way.
And Declan couldn't care less.

Demz
Miles says HI TEAMMATE! He'll call her Robby and pretend to flirt, but it's all in an innocent, friendly way. He might joke a lot and loves to annoy, but he's extremely generous and kind to his friends, and Demelza will be no exception.
Leah and Luna adore her.
Jasmine doesn't know her that well outside of watching or hearing about Quidditch matches.
Jamie thinks she's a smashing player.
And I'm guessing the animosity between her and Declan are long gone and they're now friendlier.

Sean
Not sure how he'll get along with Miles or how well they'll know each other. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
He and Leah have mutual friends and acquaintances, so again, wait and see.
As with Evan, Jasmine will also treat Sean in a very warm and motherly manner. In other words, she'll fuss about him and bake him biscuits.
Any idea how Sean and Jamie will get along now that the Lucy issue is over?
If he's BroFFs with Dean, then Luna will be extra nice to him. I mean, she's nice to everybody, but she might make an extra effort to say hi.
And still friendly with Declan, maybe?

Evan looks away awkwardly, then looks back, then is caught looking and looks away quickly.

Romilda doesn't particularly like him, but she doesn't really care that much.

Dean is pretty indifferent, I think.

Wayne is fairly indifferent too. He might write a poem about his indifference. No, probably not.

The only language I've studied above GCSE is Sanskrit... which makes TOTAL SENSE ALWAYS. If you know how it's spelt, you know how it's pronounced. Trying to teach English as a foreign language in India... I just felt so bad for them trying to learn all the different ways you can pronounce letter combinations in English, because it is just not an issue in devanagari.

Oh yes, Sanskrit is praised by some of my old teachers as a perfect, pure language. I really want to learn it for the reasons you've stated. Most modern languages, on the other hand, have borrowed from each other heavily, some through the ages, and others in more modern times. I remember my whole class laughing themselves silly one day as my English Linguistics professor read aloud a list of English words and expressions adopted (and adapted) by the Japanese language in the last few decades - for instance, "guddarukka" (not sure about the spelling) meaning "good luck".

Hey Max! This is Orla, we were in Societies... not sure if you remember! ^^

Anyway, I have three here Yue Sung (this journal), a former Gryffindor the same year as Demelza. Yue's parents were murdered during the war (a muggleborn was framed for it) and he joined Dumbledore's Army. He did not participate in the Battle because his friends forced him to leave as he was his little sister's sole relative. Yue was reluctantly going to take over his father's company and abandon his dreams but thanks to forceful persuasion from his sister, then-boyfriend Spencer and others, he went into his preferred profession of cursebreaking. Yue is a friendly sort and a nice guy, but has his stern, serious side as well. :)

Sarah Jane Entwhistle (

mysarahjane) was a Hufflepuff. She's a muggleborn and went on the run with her brother Kevin and uncle when the Muggleborns started getting rounded up. Kevin was murdered when he attempted to get some medicine for SJ who was sick and her uncle was taken to Azkaban. Luckily SJ was found by the Order before she was caught. She spent the rest the war in hiding, studying like a demon with views of revenge on those who'd killed Kevin. Later she also found out her parents had been killed. Let's just say she wasn't a happy girl when she came back to Hogwarts! She's mellowed a bit now, but can still be fierce. She's finishing her Auror training.

Anthony Goldstein's (

beauboy) history is fairly canon. ^^ His muggleborn parents faked their family trees and Anthony remained in the DA, but pretended to be keeping neutral in order to keep his prefect badge and help where he could from that position. He was stripped of the badge and tortured when his parents' deception was discovered. He fought in the Battle, was injured but not permanently damaged. He married his sweetheart Morag MacDougal about 6 months later and is now playing for the Tutshill Tornadoes.
