Does anybody know when the quidditch season ends? Because google has no idea. I'm planning for Demz to take the next season off, but I just have no idea when that is. Any ideas?

Okay so the only comparison I know of that I understand is Australian rules football.

The season proper generally runs from March to August (early autumn to late winter) and then we have our finals in early September. Then for finals the top eight teams compete for the premiership trophy... and uh rather than try and explain how the seeding for that works you can check out this page on the finals system; which also happens to have a handy flow chart.

...so I guess my suggestion is similar thing for the British and Irish League? Only y'know in the autumn/winter months for the northern hemisphere.
