Intro!post :D
Hi everyone! I'm Heather and I think I've played with pretty much all of you before. I'm bringing five kiddos over here - three currently of Goblet, one previously of Goblet and one from a different game. Whether you've played with the char or not, I'd love to plot and work out backstories/future lines etc. See below, because I'm still working on updated bios at the moment ;)

Leon ([info]argentumvir) was Head Boy in the year of the Triwizard Tournament, and hasn't been lacking in attention since. For those of you who don't know him, he's a blond haired blue eyed boy who loves to be the centre of attention, and basically, much of the school thought Dumbledore and Flitwick were trolling them by picking him as prefect, let alone Head Boy. He has a good heart, though, as well as leadership skills which were what really won him the job. In Goblet he was BFFs with Luke Hammonds and Natasha Erikson, and a founder member of the drama club. Highly confident, he's unafraid to stand out from the crowd whether on serious issues or frivolous matters such as admitting he doesn't really care for Quidditch.

Post-Goblet, he went to WADA but fled to France with his family for the third year of his course, which coincided with the war - his mother worked at the Ministry and realised that their vehemently pro-Muggle stance would get them in serious trouble. While in France, he reconnected with fellow drama club Samir Karim after a chance meeting, but other than that, he would only really have kept in touch with Luke and Natasha due to communication difficulties. He returned to the UK right after the war and completed his degree, winning the WADA graduate prize. Immediately after graduating he threw himself into theatre work and became pretty well known doing that, but these days he's better known for being one of the stars of The Aurors, a WWN soap which starts its third season at the end of August.

He dated Natasha for a couple of years after the war but they sort of fell apart as she went off to a foreign training placement and he threw himself into his new acting work - the media, if digging into his love life, either take a "he's pining for her and that's why he dates around so much" stance, or or one of "who is this mysterious beauty he talks so little of - and will they ever get back together?" Finally, his family still own a stupid number of businesses between them. Grandfather Beery manages the Wiseacre Wizarding Equipment in Diagon, with Leon's father running the equivalent in Hogsmeade. His brother and sister each manage a branch of Beery's, a muggle themed café bar - Alexander's being in Diagon and Caitlin's in Hogsmeade.

Larissa ([info]ravenclawlari) was a 6th year at the time of the Tournament, and although *just* too young to enter herself, was one of those who took a neutral stance on the Hogwarts champions, eyerolling at the behaviour of some students along with her BFF, Hamish (with whom she is still BFFs - despite their respective mothers pushing them towards being something more). She's still a half-Afrikaner and still obsessed with sports magical and muggle, but as they're all out of school now, no longer has to nag Hamish into actually doing some work.

Right after Hogwarts she went into Healer training alongside the likes of Hamish's brother Cassius, but always had the intention to go into Sports Healing. She'd only been studying for a year when war broke out and her family also managed to flee, with the excuse that requests had been made for her mother - a high profile charity campaigner in South Africa - to return for a domestic crisis. The Samuels family used diplomatic channels to escape, and remained out of sight for the rest of the war. Larissa herself continued her training at a wizarding hospital in Pretoria, and subsequently with the South African team Bloemfontein Broomflight, and only returned full time to the UK a couple of years ago. In the meantime, she kept in touch with everyone through long distance owls - unlike others, she was not trusting enough to return immediately after the war, though she visited her friends on several occasions.

She now works for Hamish's team, the Montrose Magpies, and was recently promoted to Healer-in-Charge after the retirement of the highly experienced Head Healer. You will still find her in muggle bars on a frequent basis, screaming on her beloved Springboks rugby team.

Anaïs ([info]_dumspirospero_) is a 6'1 French-Canadian redheaded glamazon who, if only she spoke with an English accent, might be mistaken for a Weasley (she would so be a Gryffindor, though). Feisty and full of self confidence, she was Quidditch Captain for the winning team at Beauxbatons during her 5th and 6th years, before coming to Hogwarts for the tournament. Through having a rather jumbled heritage herself (Dad is a Quebecois half-blood who worked as a Canadian government attaché for the French Ministry, Mum is a French Squib who works in their Muggle Liason Office), she always stuck up for those who were picked on for a less than pure heritage. Right out of school she was accepted as a reserve for the Quiberon Quafflepunchers, and played as a reserve for two years until winning a starting place. She stayed there until the start of July, when it was announced that she had signed for the Ballycastle Bats. She is currently going through moving all of her stuff over to Belfast and awaiting the team's next match.

She made her debut for the Canadian National Quidditch Team at the 1998 QWC, though she was only a reserve, making one appearance. A starting player at last year's tournament, the team didn't make it past the group stages, but as a player from a country relatively new to Quidditch, Anaïs received plaudits for her confidence and emerging leadership skills.

Even more so than Leon, Anaïs is a child of privilege which may wind some folks up the wrong way, although she has never acted stuck up on it, as her family's position was achieved through hard graft. There is no denying, though, that as she was well out of the way of Britain's troubles during the war and that her father is now Canadian ambassador to the French Ministry (as well as owning a rather spectacular apartment on the Rue de Rivoli), she has had an easier life than any of the five chars I have here.

Anzelm (this journal) was at Goblet for a while but I withdrew him due to a player he had lines with vanishing, so even if you do know him, he has changed somewhat. What has remained the same is he's still from an old Polish pureblood family (on both sides) that took great delight in pissing off the old fashioned types wherever they could. Dad was a lawyer for the victims of Grindelwald (and still is, along with liasing with those with equivalent posts in the UK after the fall of Voldemort), Mum was a bohemian artist who gave birth to Anzelm before getting married, which she did at 8 months pregnant with her second child. Both the older Szczepanski kids attended Hogwarts for the tournament, and Anzelm is still BFFs with Viktor Krum after playing for the same Qudditch team as him at Durmstrang. He's still a former Durmstrang prefect who hated Karkaroff's guts (the feeling was mutual) because of his own liberal views and was very much a thorn in the administration's side. He's also still one of those annoyingly talented gits who speaks six languages - Polish (obviously), English, Norwegian, Bulgarian, Russian and Finnish. Yay Durmstrangers!

What has changed: instead of enjoying the attention of Hogwarts ladies everywhere, he met and began to date a girl I haven't named whilst at Hogwarts fairly early on in the tournament. They attended the ball together and dated throughout the year, and kept in touch after the Durmstrang delegation left, enjoying a long distance relationship until both were qualified in their respective careers (I've left it open as to whether she was from Hogwarts or Beauxbatons, in case anyone wants to pick up that line. Ahem). They have a daughter who turned four in February, and a son who is eighteen months old. They got married two years ago. And for those of you who like obvious maths as character signposts, why yes, they followed in the footsteps of Anzelm's parents in certain respects ;) Anzelm himself went back to using both his parents' surnames after he left Durmstrang, and his children both have doubled barrelled names also.

During the war, Anzelm was a soon-to-be-qualified Auror at the Ministry in Poland. Naturally, European magical governments were highly concerned about events they were hearing about in Britain, and Anzelm was one of a unit of foreign Aurors deployed to help sneak both British and foreign citizens out of the country once they had been tracked down. Anzelm was in the country at the time of the Battle of Hogwarts and so ended up as the only one of my kiddos who actually fought there. Offered a post in the UK upon qualifying fully, she and Anzelm returned to the UK together for good in the summer of 1998, with Aurélia being born in February 1999 - interesting timing again, Anzelm ;) He still jaunts off around Europe for liason purposes, but is mostly settled in the UK now as a family man. His next project is to begin training the latest batch of recruits in reducing their reaction times to attacks. Oh yeah.

FINALLY...

Kevin ([info]stillkevin) is NOT the Kevin Whitby of canon in this context - canon!Kev is a younger cousin, named after the same deceased family member. So, enough about that. If you were at Feinted (or even May 02), you'll remember Kevin as a friendly-yet-somewhat shy typical Hufflepuff and former prefect who worshipped at the altar of Care of Magical Creatures class. He's still very much that way now, as he works as a dragon keeper and researcher for the Dragon Restraint and Research Bureau of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. A Yorkshireman born and bred, he lives in Haverfordwest in South Wales for the ease of access to the hunting grounds of the Common Welsh Green... oh, and he's an animagus, completing training a year out of Hogwarts. He takes the form of a bat. He's my least recent of my five and has had the biggest time shift, so he has the shortest description due to less plot. I'd like to develop him while in game as a result.

PLOT WITH MEEEEEEEEE.
