Thus Endeth is a private group storyline that takes place during the fourth season of Angel and the seventh season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Our goal is to keep this a close-knit game, dwelling on talented and relatively dedicated players. Original characters are more than welcomed to the game - encouraged, even - if they are well developed and have a solid background. After the near destruction of Hogwarts in the summer of 1998, several changes were decided upon during its reconstruction. Hogwarts had always been a great place for learning, but lacked what some of the other magical schools had: a well-rounded education that focused on more than just magical mastery. With a helping hand from the newly established Ministry, several elective clubs and activities were created and formed to encourage expanded learning.

These changes have evolved over the years, slightly changing as professors came and went at the school, but never quite disappearing. In fact, Hogwarts has become very event-oriented and is now hailed as a hands-on teaching school.

There is still some harsh criticism from certain media outlets and former Hogwarts students that remember how the school used to be run. In fact, some would call the need to implement art as something required for learning to be quite piffling.

Piffled is a game set in the school year 2022-2023, focusing on students from 5th to 7th year. An event oriented game, students are encouraged to participate in as many clubs, school activities, and events as possible. As a reminder, all students are required to take one fine art elective "club" to keep up with Ministry requirements.

The Greek gods were known to meddle in the lives of mortals. They had scandalous affairs, unleashed curses, and orchestrated wars that decimated populations.

But what happened before that?

Hesiod speaks of the beginnings of the Greek pantheon, the start of the reign of the Olympians. The sons of Cronus drew lots to divide the cosmos, and each established his reign over a third of the world. Zeus had two wives before Hera, and numerous liaisons that were soon over. What happened to Metis? And Themis? What of Mnemosyne, and Eurynome, and Demeter? What led Poseidon to take the Sea Goddess Amphitrite to wife? And how did Persephone catch Hades' eye?

Well, we are about to find out...

The Premise

In the Summer of 2024, a pack of werewolves started terrorising the country, turning young children and brutally killing their parents. A month later the dead started returning to life. Voldemort was among the first to arrive. By spring 2025, Voldemort and the werewolves had joined forces; Hogwarts, Azkaban and Diagon Alley had been attacked, but Ministry and Order were still standing strong, forcing Voldemort to live in hiding.

On June 18, 2025, everything changed! Voldemort launched an attack on the wizarding world, hitting King's Cross, the Hogwarts Express and the Ministry. While the forces of good spread out to protect the population, Voldemort took over the Ministry – and with it the Wizarding society. The Order and their allies fled to Hogwarts, where Headmaster Severus Snape shielded the school, making it impossible for Voldemort to gain entrance. From there, the Order launched its resistance.

For the rest of the population, it’s comply or be killed, but under the surface, people are trying to find a way to manoeuvre outside the new laws and restrictions. In the meantime an unknown, yet undetected, spell is spreading amongst the Wizarding population, Death Eaters, Order and neutral alike. A spell which has the potential to turn the world upside down once more.
