What is this place?

Alina, do be a dear and bring some tea back to our room when you return, won’t you? You haven’t been successful at staying away, apparently this train wants us together.

So! (You can't see it, but I've clapped my hands most soundly.) This world is most assuredly new and different, and full of people who swim. Apparently, some members of this grandiose train may not be proficient swimmers, and while I am sadly lacking many of the skills that others on this train have in great abundance, I am quite skilled in the water.

This fact being what it is, those of you who require lessons may seek me out. My name is Nikolai, and I am very tall and phenomenally overdressed to be exploring a submerged city that belongs to someone else.
