WHO Bucky Barnes & David Kostyk WHAT Bucky goes to adopt another smart kid. He's got a type, okay. WHEN Immediately after this WHERE Atlantis RATING PG-ish
Bucky definitely hadn't meant to adopt so many kids. This was the third one, after River and Alina. It wasn't that Bucky had a definite eye for kids in trouble, although he wasn't sure that any of the three kids he'd now stuck his neck out for were really kids. It was more that he tended to understand when people needed help, and since he'd started with Steve, it was pretty much impossible to find anyone who needed more help than baby Steve.
So he'd asked the kid where he was, and then he'd gone off to find him. It hadn't taken much effort; the kid was utterly confused and he looked it. Bucky found him next to some sort of underwater building designed for God only knew what purpose.
He was just thrilled his arm wasn't damaged, although if the kid could change the color of the world around him, he could probably fix Bucky's arm, too. He crossed his arms over his chest, one eyebrow arching as he came to a stop just in front of the kid, whose name appeared to be David. "Hi," he said, without offering out his metal hand. "I'm Bucky. You're David, right? Confused dude? Brand new here. Right?"
