Why is it the guy who has come to terms with the guy who’s come to terms with the fact he’s not cut out for thrilling heroics and is in fact cut out to stay with the ship and be happy doing the flying the one who still ends up on the losing end? I get a daughter and this is the only place I’ll ever meet her. I heard this group doesn’t always have the best time when there’s a stop but I don’t care. I’d rather stay here and be alive and know my daughter and be with my family. I don’t want to get shoved back home where all I got waiting is a future as a human shish-ka-bob. I wish there was a way to make it permanent.
