Thirty-Seven years ago, thirteen districts rose up against Panem's Capitol. One was obliterated entirely. The twelve that survived were forced to sign the Treaty of Treason. Among its provisions, the requirement that every year each district send two children, ages 12 through 18. One boy and one girl from each District is sent making twenty-four children in all who are paraded about then put into a deadly arena from which only one leaves victorious and alive.
