You suddenly find yourself in a cable car lift high up in the mountains. All you can see below is snow and ice covered trees...until a massive hotel comes into view. You and the other people with you in the cable car have no idea what's happening or how you got here. The lift descends and the door of the car slides open, allowing you and your fellow passengers to get out. Once you're off the cable car lift, you'll be directed into the motel lobby where you'll be greeted by the front desk clerk, who welcomes you to Motel California and gives you a key to your room.

What he won't tell you, is that you can never leave.
