Alas, I haven't read the books. I do know some things about them, but not enough to write Q and El from them. Plus they are teenagers in the books and there's really no Queliot in them. Boo! To me that would change the dynamic they have on the show if Quentin were from the book. Sigh. I finally have someone reply and this. It's so hard writing in fandom that isn't the biggest. Unless you meant something different by "book knowledge"? For instance, Q doesn't die in the books.
